ANY round is good enough to kill a man or deer! If it bleeds, it WILL die! But maybe not as fast as you’d like. So if all you have a general or trash range rounds they’ll still do the job of putting a nice sized hole in the threat and that absolutely will bleed till dealt with very fast or they bleed out so use what you have or can afford and simply keep extra mindful on your backstops since some regular practice/range rounds aren’t designed to stop in certain materials even flesh and a lot of the time way over penetrate causing through and through shots so really only thing you need to worry about is missed shots on target or it passing completely through the threat and keep going to an innocent. Remember… ANY round in 300 blackout will drop most all creatures in the US including the two legged threats, but may over penetrate but with self defense rounds most won’t over penetrate since they design them to dump all energy into the threat by using external hollow points or hollow points.
