The manufacturer doesn't state if the XS Sight Systems Lever Rail Ghost Ring WS for Marlin will fit a Marlin 336. However, I have also read that Marlin 336 bases will fit a Glenfield 30A. My suggestion would be to by the mount and sights separate so you can get the correct front sight. Or I recommend contacting the manufacturer in regards to a specific model that will fit your gun and has a dovetail front sight.
