I have a Glenfield 30A which should be the same as a Marlin 336. However, my 30A has a DOVE TAIL FRONT SIGHT. Which model will work on my rifle?

The manufacturer doesn't state if the XS Sight Systems Lever Rail Ghost Ring WS for Marlin will fit a Marlin 336. However, I have also read that Marlin 336 bases will fit a Glenfield 30A. My suggestion would be to by the mount and sights separate so you can get the correct front sight. Or I recommend contacting the manufacturer in regards to a specific model that will fit your gun and has a dovetail front sight.

Does this 308mx model fit my 338mx marlin?

The XS Sight Systems Lever Rail Ghost Ring WS for Marlin model 308MX should be compatible with the Marlin 338MX, however, I would contact the manufacturer to confirm.

does this mount with existing holes in the receiver or need to be drilled and tapped?
