xts 104 is shock absorbing. xts 106 is not shock absorbing

104 is shock absorbing and 106 is just a regular stock

I ordered both and don’t understand why someone is saying one is shock absorbing and the other is not. They are both “shock absorbing” due to the thick rubber buttpad and for no other reason that I have found. The true difference is that the more expensive model has a sling quick release on each side and the other does not. The pictures shown for each model are actually all pictures of the $24 version. The quick release is in the round hole on the rear just below the cheek rest. So if you don’t use a quick release and just loop your sling thru the slots, buy the cheaper version. Not sure if you can add a quick release socket later on but if you can, it will cost the extra $10 or more just for one side.
