Probably best for stuff smaller than .308
I stuck this on an 18 inch AR10 pattern rifle. I wanted something that was not going to be as annoying to other shooters at the range like a muzzle brake (you know, THAT GUY). And in that, it somewhat does that. It sure is less bad than a full on side ported muzzle brake but also quite a bit more than a standard A2 style. It certainly does cut down on muzzle climb on my .308. But OMG, the muzzle flash! While firing all I see is a wall of flame threw my 1-8 power. Flame thrower
In short on my 18” AR10, the recoil reduction is minimal there’s zero flash reduction. I’ll be going back to my A2 bird cage since there was little to no difference besides the lack of flash reduction on this muzzle device
Pros:
- If there is any it be looks and a minimal amount of recoil reduction over an A2
Cons:
- Enough flash to be seen from space

Solid build quality
I got this for an AR10 pattern rifle with a 16 inch barrel and am very pleased with the device as a whole. Solid build and pretty Stout. The device measured 2 2/16 of an inch in length and just a hair over 3/4 of an inch in width. Closed on the bottom with exception to 2 small vent holes on the bottom @ the 5 and 7 o'clock positions. I'm a big fan of the aggressive design which remind me a the YH Phantom. Finish is good however it did transfer onto my fingers until I wiped it down with a silicone rag. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was the fact that mine did not come with a crush washer despite the reviews saying it did. Not a huge issue as I'd bought a pack of 10 washers because there are 3 different devices I'll be using but I can't say if this is a one off or the way it ships. In any case, I'm pleases with the purchase

Cons:
- No crush washer shipped with mine meaning you need to get it when you order otherwise may have to wait till you get a washer, a little pricey for what it is.

Nice comp, not so great flash hider
As a comp or muzzle brake this thing is excellent, 5 stars. As a flash hider it's maybe a 2. I have it installed on a C308 and the recoil and muzzle rise were reduced pretty dramatically. I was shocked at the flash though. It's less flash than a bare muzzle, but not by much. I bought the 5.56 version of this comp a couple years ago and it was actually a pretty good flash hider. The gas volume if a 308 must be too much for it. It may be a better FH on a 300 blackout or 7.62x39. I'm still happy with it overall.

- Relatively low concussion

Vary good on a 7.62 x 39 AR build.
Previously I used this on an 18 inch .308 where it functioned but the fire ball and report were excessive. But it certainly did reduce muzzle climb. Well last month I was staring at the thing sitting on my desk and started wondering how it would do on a 7.62 X 39 AR. So I ended up building an upper last night after I got this idea stuck in my head. And it works incredibly well on this. Report and flash are what I would call normal for something like this out of a 16 inch barrel. Muzzle flip ended up being not much greater than 5.56 do to this thing. And this is with a Faxon gunner barrel which weights much less than your usual government profile. Ya, for 7.62 x 39 and probably .300 blackout a legit option for a muzzle device.

Muzzle Brake for 6.5 Grendel build
I bought this to finish off my 6.5 Grendel AR build. I compliments my Oden Works SS barrel however, It does not match the barrel muzzle diameter but should be good for a 30cal barrel. The titanium does reduce barrel weight and it does reduce recoil allowing easy target aquisition.
