Most Helpful Negative Review To large of a diameter
These pins are too big in diameter to fit in a 'standard' DPMS style receiver set such as Aeroprecision, all 80% lowers, etc. They measure 0.2790 in diameter. Correctly fitting pins measure 0.2775. Yes and However...

For the detent to engage the pivot pin on my LR-308 the Armament pin head thickness had to be reduced. I found this out the hard way after installing the pivot pin and trying to depress an out of alignment detent to remove the pivot pin. Because the slot in the rear takedown pin is turned downward on the LR-308 and adds play I used a round KNS .278" diameter push button pin instead. Building a .308 includes extra work and hidden expenses.

WILL NOT FIT AERO M5E1

These are too large of diameter to fit in the Aero Precision M5E1 and even though they are very well made; they unfortunately will not be of use to me. The kns shift pins seem to fit however, but I do not like the way those come completely out and are not captive like these are

Does not fit LR308

Just received these. They are advertised as being LR308 compatible. Attempted to install them on an Aero Precision LR308 upper. They are oversized and do not fit. Beautifal part but have to return it.
