2a titanium pins
These are amazing as advertised, I used them in 2a Armament Xanthos receivers and the fit and finish is perfect. I like how they contrast off of the black as well. I would purchase again, this was part of an AR10 build to be under 7lbs.

Not a good product
First let me say they are super light and very cool. Now let me say what good are they if one fits and one does not. Rear pin fit but front is to large. I'm gonna try sanding it down to see if i can get it to fit. I have an Aero M5 lower so the quality of the lower is there. Just seems crappy i hav...

Did not fit aero m5
As previously reviewed, the pivot pin did not fit my aero m5 lower. The cool factor of gun drilled Ti pins outweighs the fact that i had to scuff a few ten thousandths off the diameter to get it to slide in nice and snug. So if you have an aero lower and are afraid of some very minor smithing, these are not for you. Other lowers? Im not sure. 5 stars if they had fit properly ir even stated they were too big for aero lower.... id have bought them anyway and sanded to fit.
Pros:
- Ti, raw Ti finish, light, not bad to look at
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Amateur gunsmiths

Exceeded my expectations
Pin diameter measured with a micrometer was .278-.279. Very nice pins, I would buy them again. Building an Armalite pattern (MARS-H lower and J.P. Side Charging Upper) has gone surprisingly smoothly, but finding pins that I was happy with has been the most difficult part because not all manufacturers put the dimensions up on their website, not sure why as this seems so obvious, especially with the AR-10 platform which has lots of compatibility issues. I tried J.P. Push Button and Battle Arms EPS-308, J.P. Ran .274-.275, Battle Arms ran a consistent .276. Those pins might be better in a DPMS pattern, but these 2A titanium pins were by far the best in my Armalite MARS-H lower.

Perfect for a lightweight build
These were a perfect addition to a prototype ultralight AR-10 build where every ounce counts. This and all the other titanium parts helped to shave 3 pounds off the total build! While this part doesn’t make or break the build, every part adds to the total mass. More importantly they perform exactly like the comparable steel products in a standard build.
Pros:
- performance
- light
- Rugged and reliable
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Lightweight build
