Great add on.
Great add on to my gear bag. Fits on really easily and gives me the extra space I was looking for. Perfect for your ear and eye protection or any additional space needed. Well made and I would buy it again.

Fit and finish as expected with 5.11 gear. Recently attached to my mid size 5.11 back pack with no problems. I needed additional space for my backpack without having to spend a lot of money purchasing a new bag. Overall I belive 5.11 build quilty is a great value.

A must have for 5.11 Tactical gun cases
Having two of these made a big difference in the utility of 5.11 Tactical's 36" single gun case without making it too bulky. Before I could hold only my rifle, some magazines, and some small items. With two of the 6.10 pouches I can now hold my earmuffs, eye protection, boxes of ammo, and cleaning supplies in the same case. The quality is great as expected from 5.11 and their SlickStick system made mounting a breeze.

5.11 6.10 Pouch (Vertical) BLACK 58717
I purchased 2 of these pouches to add to my 5.11 36" gun case. The pouches are just like the gun case, very well constructed. They give additional storage for any item that you might need to take to the range, or for that hunting expedition, and they just look cool. Seriously though, they are sturdy, high quality items that are well worth the money and effort to install. They make the already good 5.11 gun case even better.
Pros: Very well built, matches 5.11 gun cases perfectly
Cons: None, unless you count the time to install it

5.11 VERETICAL 6X10 POUCH
this is good for almost any extra or other purpose items you may need along the way.will fit water bottle and or extra mags. use as dump pouch or for an MRE. Med. bag can fit in so you can remove it to use it or pass it to those who can. it is sturdy with front Molli rows that fit and carry mag pouches or other extra that you need. carries well even if it is empty and the outer pouch is full. this uses a specific attachment called slick stick it is a stiff reinforced vertical strap on the rear for your Molli attachment. the top is secured with a polymer ring and the bottom is a large snap. the stick dose not remove without your decision to cut it off. it is a good unit to keep on and use. the snap is difficult to use on the black-hawk strike vest but all others will be very easy to use. now for an interesting additional use you may be interested in. on the rear top of the bag is an additional row for attachment and with the strong ring on top of the "stick" you may be happy with a belt carry.. loop the stick over top of belt and thread through the webs on the back below the belt and snap to the bottom and now you have a low belt carry or dump pouch location for food, mag, or whatever. looks like the stick and ring would hold for lighter items a long time.
Pros: Multi use
Cons: snap maybe

5.11 6.10 Vertical Pouch
The 5.11 "Slip-Stick" system is good. It is easy to set up and use. I bought the pouch to attach to their tactical vest and to use put extended 33 round pistol magazines in it or and any other extra magazines or equipment I might have that I wasn't putting in other mag pouches.
I've ended up using it for backpacking by attaching it to a non-MOLLE system for extra storage and I think that's how the pouch will likely be used. It sticks out too far for a vest, I think, or at least it would likely interfere with a backpack on a LBE vest.
That being said the stitching is awesome and the zippers are great. I tend to abuse my gear and I don't anticipate wearing this out any time soon.
Pros: Well-made, good MOLLE system
Cons: Slightly expensive

Get them while you can
Most online vendors and local stores are out, even backordered on 5.11 web site. I attach the STRIKE Platform with SERPA holster on the front for cross drawn. It hold 26 magazines inside the pouch. Also can hold snacks like Powerbars, candies, electrolyte powder drink, etc.
