Not a whole lot to say about snap caps, they should be the same size as the round they're emulating, be very immediately distinguishable from a live round, be durable enough for repeated chambering and ejection, and hopefully last a few hundred of those cycles before no longer being useful. A-Zooms tend to have the best life of caps I use, but they're still disposable. I won't penalize them a star for that because I don't know of any snap caps more durable than these for the dollars spent.

I always buy snap caps for each of my calibers, and its always a zooms. These are quality albeit pricey snap caps but they work perfect and feed reliably, what more is there to say? Just grab these for your guns and dont think twice, it will make your training and dry fire sessions all the better.

Many try to hide their poor shooting discipline with upgrades - in this case I’m talking about trigger pull. Dry fire training on a stock trigger, like the old US ARMY dime and rod exercise, is the tried and true method to honing this skill. So, these snap caps allow you to conduct that exercise again over and over again without any worry of damage to your firing pin. Whether working with a youth, a newby, or disciplining for long range these snap caps are a must.
Pros:
- good all round
- color and finish
- 2 per pack
- functional and practical
Best Used for:
- Dry Fire Training
- saving firing pin

Wanted a snap cap to train for trigger control on a Savage 110BA Stealth .338 Lapua. Snap caps loaded smooth with no issues, eject normally. Highly recommend A-Zoom products, use their products for all of my firearms

I love these snap caps. you can use snap caps to run through your gun like real ammunition and the best part I think is when you put your gun to rest you can put it away with the firing pin spring completely relaxed

From time to time you may find yourself checking a rifle to assure it's funtioning as it should. Wether it be after repairs or a new build you need to check your firearm. Do it right....do it safe. Snap caps is how you do it. Aluminum body that will take a beating but not damage your gun. Magazine fed, bolt action, dry fire, checking your BCG....do it all! I've got three different caliber Snap Chaps and I'm pleased with thier resililance and perfect imitation of the real thing. Get them for all your firearms.
Pros:
- Perfect copy of live round
Best Used for:
- Check magazines, bolt action, BCG, bore and round eject.

I have several different brands of .308 rifles and these snap caps load and extract as a real cartridge in all of my rifles, especially the Savage which is the most picky. Perform as advertized. Would buy again.
Pros:
- Inexpensive
- extracts without any issues, like a real cartrdge

Snap Caps are great for checking actions and teaching gun safety. These now come in a lot of different calibers, including military calibers. A-Zoom are quality and durable. No need to worry about catching them when they eject. A note: If you order them from OP, you will not know if they are out of stock until the order is submitted. I have been waiting for two different caliber Snap Caps for over three weeks. Ordered 6/1/16 and out of stock. Was told they would ship 6/14/16 and still waiting 6/21/16. This is one line of products that OP price is about the same as every one else. Most of the time OP has the best prices and free shipping. Not the case with these. Average price. Still a great, well made product.

These snap caps really help you understand the differences between each of your rifles as it relates to their trigger pull. It also does a great job of allowing you to teach how to cycle your rifles for your children or any new shooters.
