Sometimes the simplest things in life can be explained in only a few sentences and the Accu-Tac Spikes for the BR-4/SR-5 series of bipods can be summarized with this: An easy to install set of spikes that hold up to what you can put your bipod through on your precision rifle.

I've taken my .308 Win. Remington 700 AAC SD out a few times and fired in the prone in a field and in the 90 degree angle, these spikes really helped me keep the rifle consistently on my shoulder when absorbing the recoil. In fact, the ground was wet enough that the spikes drove themselves into the ground about an inch deep during a string of fire! Other than being covered in mud, these were great. I do recommend taking a wrench and tightening the spikes firmly so you don't have to worry about them unthreading if you plan to put these through some use.
