Great kit but....
So this kit is great but. The description should tell you to ensure the gas port on your barrel is at least.125” and you should purchase the Nemo arms 300 blackout buffer spring. I also had to take.035” off of the oprod so the gas block would be fully over the gas port on the barrel.
Missing parts, can't use it
It showed up missing the mounting screws and optics planet said the manufacturer was sending the parts. Well it's been 4 months now and still no parts.

BUY IT - This IS absolutely the setup for 300BO
This IS the kit you want.
I originally bought the old style, with two a settings, in the pistol length. It was impossible to get to work right, even with gas port increases in the barrel.
1 year later and this kit presents itself. IT IS PERFECT!!! It eats 110, 124, 125, 147, 190, 200, and 210 grain. Little adjustments were needed but with the 5 available gas settings it is hard to not find a perfect setting by watching the gass ejection angle.
You will be happy with this kit!

Fantastic 300B supersonic
I ran this on a 10 inch SBR using huxwrx suppressor.
I used buffers weighting from 1.5oz, 2.2oz, 2.7oz, 3oz, H, H2, H3, H4
I used buffer springs: Carbine, Super 42 braided, NEMO 300B low power spring
I used sub ammo that was 208gr and two types of 220gr
No imaginable combination could get the subs to run correctly.
Using midwest barrel nut mod.
It runs supersonics beautifully. My gas key is on half using 147gr and h3/super 42.
For supersonic, its perfect!

Helped my 8.5” 300 BLK OUT cycle suppressed
I installed on my pistol and it works great with a sound suppressor and subsonic loads. It worked with super sonic loads unsuppressed before I installed it. Now I can dial it down for sound suppression and get less recoil and less wear on my upper and bolt group.
Pros:
- clean
- cooler gas temps at bolt
Cons:
- Expensive
- Back ordered because of demand.
Best Used for:
- sound suppression

Best upgrade I ever made
It is almost the same weight as a standard AGB, it's actually quite impressive. Very high quality product.
Works flawlessly, no modification to the kit or the op-rod required as others stated. If you are running into length issues - I would modify the barrel nut before trimming op-rod.
Only things I had to modify were
1. Non mil spec barrel nut had to be drilled out for proper clearance. Adam's Arms customer support were great and respond within a couple hours usually(SO to Philip Dawson, thanks for your help) sent me explicit instructions with pictures of my exact handguard barrel/setup.
2. Drill out and expand the dimples on my barrel, the set screws for this block are larger than standard and will not seat in normal sized factory dimples
My gas port is on the smaller side 0.084" and this will still cycle subs/supers and lock the bolt back with a standard buffer/spring unsuppressed. There's really a lot of adjustability when going suppressed and could even potentially go with a H3/T3 buffer and stronger spring if enough backpressure. If struggling can always drill out the gas port to 0.120" as a last resort, or go with a nemo arms 300 blk reduced power buffer spring if really struggling. Luckily I did not have to do that on my setup and it works flawlessly.
I have about 500 rounds through it since installation and it still has the lube on the bcg from when I installed it. This is way better than DI especially when running a suppressor.

Oprod length can be confusing
This is a great kit. The lightened BCG and spring setups are specifically for the lower pressure 300 blackout. My barrel was pre dimpled for a gas block and, like others found myself with a fully collapsed BCG and 0 distance gap with the oprod. I should shave .010 off the end of the rod or gap the block by .025 but that seems like a work around when i know my gas block is exactly over the port. The gap is allegedly to allow for when things het hot and metal swells a bit.
Pros:
- Simple design
- Includes BCG
Cons:
- Gap requirements
Would recommend: Yes
