This is my second AA piston system I've upgraded to. To me, not have to clean out the chamber, bolt carrier and bolt are a win for me. You still want to run with lubricant, but these systems run extremely well and very clean. I highly recommend them if you have patience or have them installed by a gunsmith. The hardest part is finding a barrel nut that works with a piston. On top of that, finding a handguard that works with said barrel nut. I recommend a standard GI barrel nut and a Samson Evo style handguard to save you the trouble. After said and done you will be impressed.
I plan on buying another for my next build
East to install, just required some grinding on the barrel nut. I put a Strike Industries 7" Strike rail on this one. Works great. I used the pistol length as I have a 7.5" barrel, next one will be carbine length and I will go with a Strike rail and Adams lo pro P series also.

Adams Arms Low Pro Pistol Length Piston is legit.
Low profile block was sleek and fit under rail nicely. Worked out as expected. Recommend. The piston system all worked out as planned as well. Wish they had the low mass BCG in stock but no big deal. I’ll try this set up out and upgrade from here. Other than that I just need to get to the range and try everything out.
