This was nothing more than a magnesium phosphate coated lower parts kit. The trigger and hammer surface were bare. I thought they'd be coated with two coatings like their website explains when they speak of VDI lifecoat. It came in a thin bag that had two small tears and one big enough for parts to fall out of it.
You can tell if you got a quality lower parts kit if it has the S marked trigger, hammer, selector and mag release. That is Schmid tool and engineering. Insted of an S in the BCM kits they use the bcm logo. Is there better, probably, but I haven't found it. I'd recommend buying anything but this kit right here, well maybe not anything. I'd say the cmc lpk is probably worse than this. Do not buy anything but machined lower parts kits.
