Most Helpful Negative Review Great item for my Maverick 88
Didn't like the Mossberg stock so my friend recommended this one to me. Little difficult to install. For the forend, you will need the Mossberg 500 Action Slide Tube Forend Adapter Extended Nut for a 12 Gauge. If the instructions would've told me that then I would give it 5 stars.

Low quality

You get what you pay for. I took a razor knife and sandpaper to smooth out the rough lines, and it still feels like the two sides of these things were mated using plate tectonics, rather than some modern manufacturing method.

The stock "buffer tube" is a polymer number that has high points like the Andes, so it sticks pretty bad when you try to adjust.

590 crusier upgrade

I only had the pistol grip and added this to make it more useful. The reaching for the Action lock lever does take rotating the gun and rotating you strong hand . That is the only fault I see

Wrong model missing parts

So for starters, as although this stated it was for a mossberg 500, it was not. Maybe a 870? The forend was too small of a diameter to get the tube installed, and the adapter for the 7 5/8 tube was not in the box. The butt stock adapter did not match the receiver, and it sits further back from the receiver so you need some long fingers to reach the trigger. I did some serious modifications to get it to work. Otherwise I would have returned it. Not happy with this product at all.

Great Modification

Fits as described, sturdy materials, just be sure you know how to disassemble/assemble your 500 Mossberg prior to starting. Like how it looks after modification. Very comfortable as well. Would recommend if you like that tactical look.

Decent replacement furniture

This is a pretty decent furniture set for the Mossberg 500. Not the highest quality but it does the job well. The 500 is pretty old, probably from the 1970's and was a little drab looking. This dressed it up nicely.

Good Job Adaptive Tactical - stock

Bought this for my Maverick 88 and couldn’t be happier. The hidden QD mount is a great feature along with the super absorbent/adjustable stock. Easy install, I did need to go to the local hardware store for a long flat head but, gotta do whatcha gotta do. Haven’t even touched the forend yet - might edit this review or do another one once I slap that on.

awsome for my shotgun

This was quick and easy and a spectacular addition to my Mossberg.i tried the pistol grip and stock assemble and both seemed cumbersome. This model is great for any one to use and is a secure grip for safe shooting

Great fit. With the money

The only complaint i can give is that it has a little wiggle in the stock but it's too be expected in this type. I love it. Has a sling attachment adapter for shoulder sling or harness. The front stock is beefy but i like that.
