Less than happy
I have two of these barrels. The one I just got today looks rushed to get it out the door. It does not fit tight like my other barrel. I tried three different ruger takedown receivers and all of them this barrel was loose. All my other barrels fit perfectly between the receivers. Also the scope rail is bent downward. I would go with the volquartsen barrel instead they are just much better if your going to spend $300. I really want to return it but I may never get another barrel.

Exactly what I was looking for
Always wanted a barrel with a cantilever rail for mounting my optics. This barrel is just about perfect. Fit and finish are flawless, installation is, of course, easy, and the accuracy now is less than 1” groups @ 50 yards. And yes, you take everything apart, put it back together an it is still on target .
