Advanced Optics RD3-020
I used this sight only once, when i intiall mounted it and was in the process of zeroing it in. The red dot functioned well for several magazines through a Glock 17 however, The dot began moving upward in the dispalay window eventually settling all the way at the top. This was after approximately 30 rounds fired. I attempted to adjust the sight but the adjustment screw failed to move the dot before it eventually hit it's adjustment limit.
I was not previously familiar with the ADE brand and bought this item based primarily on price. I will not replace this item with another ADE optic.
Good Optic, Read the Footprint Carefully
The optic itself seems very well made and the dot is excellent. Unfortunately I mistakenly assumed it would fit my RMSc carry pistol.
That was completely my error since this model uses the standard RMR footprint. Once I installed it on another compatible firearm it worked perfectly. Just make sure you verify compatibility before ordering.

Reliable After 1,500 Rounds
I waited several months before reviewing because I wanted to see how it would hold up. The optic now has approximately 1,500 rounds on my Glock clone and has maintained zero throughout.
The glass is clear with very little tint, adjustments tracked accurately during zeroing, and the aluminum housing has held up to repeated holster use. For this price range, I'm honestly impressed.

Motion Awake Saves Battery
I leave the optic powered on all the time because the Motion Awake system automatically puts it to sleep after a few minutes and instantly wakes it back up when the pistol moves. It's one of those features you don't realize you'll appreciate until you start using it every day.

Excellent Window Size
The viewing window is larger than I expected, making it much easier to acquire the dot during rapid transitions.
Brightness controls are simple, the buttons are easy to reach, and the optic has performed perfectly during multiple outdoor range trips. I'd definitely recommend it.

Perfect Fit on My RMR Slide
Mounted this directly onto my RMR-cut slide with no fitting required. Zeroing was quick, and after several hundred rounds it hasn't shifted at all.
The housing feels very solid, and I really appreciate that ADE includes the Picatinny mount so I can also move it to another firearm if I want.

Tiny 2 MOA Dot Makes a Big Difference
I wanted a precise 2 MOA dot for target shooting, and this optic delivered. The dot is crisp, easy to pick up, and allows much more precise aiming than the larger dots I've used before.
The Motion Awake feature works flawlessly, and the top-loading battery means I never have to remove the optic just to change the battery.

Fast Target Acquisition
The window is clear, the dot is easy to locate, and follow-up shots are noticeably faster than with iron sights.
Installation was simple, adjustments tracked accurately while zeroing, and everything has remained tight after multiple range sessions. I'd definitely buy another one.

Wrong Footprint for My Pistol

Unfortunately I ordered it assuming it would fit my RMSc-cut carry pistol. It doesn't because this model uses the standard RMR footprint. That's entirely my mistake, but buyers should verify compatibility before ordering.

Reliable Through Heavy Use
I purposely waited several months before writing this review because I wanted to see how the optic would hold up over time.
It's currently mounted on my Shadow Systems pistol and has seen just over 2,000 rounds. The housing has held up to repeated holster draws, the glass still looks excellent, and the zero has never shifted.
The Motion Awake system is one of my favorite features. The optic goes to sleep when sitting in the safe and instantly wakes up the moment the pistol is picked up. Battery life has been outstanding because of this.
For the price, I honestly think this is one of the better RMR-footprint optics available.

Solid Optic for Competition
I primarily use this on my range pistol for steel matches.
The larger window makes finding the dot easy, and the brightness settings are more than enough for sunny days. Four stars only because I wish the adjustment buttons had a little more tactile feedback. Otherwise, it has performed flawlessly.
