Way better than a straight plastic mil spec grip easy to install and comfortable

I like the size and shape of this grip. I have a left-handed rifle, and this grip allows me to operate the controls much easier the X2. the contour on the back I really nice plus the rubber padding makes it unnoticeable when I'm shooting.

I was worried this grip would be too bulky for my smaller hands, but it's comfortable and provides me with a better grip and better trigger-finger position. I would have given 5 stars but the overall "fit and finish" needs improvement. Rough edges on the bottom of the rubber, and a minor but sharp plastic welding seam in the finger grooves that causes some friction. But I suspect the ridge will wear down gradually over time. Let's see how the rubber withstands body oil and dirt.

I originally bought this for my AR rifle. With the long tail on the top, it would not fit without modification. I decided it to install it on my AR pistol and wow what a great addition to it! It feels good in the hand, gives you more control, and the 2 tone color scheme looks so good with my setup. I like it so much, I bought another for my 300 Blackout build.
Cons:
- doesn't fit all lowers with the extended top tail

ATI Outdoors X1 AR-15/AR-10 Pistol Grip is an extremely comfortable grip. It absorbs the recoil, which allows for a better follow up shot, and prevents fatigue.

I needed to swap out grips on my first ar15. I very much found the hollow, plastic mil-spec grip to be atrocious. After switching to the ATI grip I fell in love with my rifle chambered in 7.62x39 all over again. My most recent ar15 needed one as well so I didnt hesitate to buy another ATI unit.
Pros:
- Snug fit, wonderful angle, excellent ergonomics

I was looking for a replacement grip for my Carmel. The grip that came on it, while it has great reviews, was just not for me. I have rather small hands and was looking at a few grips when this one caught my eye. It came in fast and I went to install it. Now, the Carmel is said to use "AR style grips". But not quite all grips, it seems. The back, "dove tail" section that I have always liked on grips is a bit too high for the Carmel. As I really liked the feel of the grip, I just modified the back to fit. A little sanding and dremel work and it fit perfectly and gave me a very comfortable grip. Should fit on any AR base just fine and I won't ding it for needing some mods to fit my weapon. Just though folks may want to know this if they wanted one for a Carmel.
Pros:
- Comfortable
- Great shape and feel
- Works well for smaller hands
Cons:
- May not fit non-AR weapons that use AR style grips
- May need a longer mounting screw

Was completely wrong color. Was supposed to be grey but is more of a burnt bronze. Still good part so I toss in a box for a later use.

I just installed another one of these ATI grips on my latest AR build. These are the most comfortable grips on the market. Very well made, very durable, and very ergonomic. I'll continue to use these on any of my future AR platform rifles as long as they're available.
Pros:
- Everything about it is a PRO!!
Best Used for:
- Comfortable target, tactical or hunting

Pretty decent quality other than the seam in the mold could be a little smoother. Fits my smaller hands well and the angle works well for me, seems to give me a better hold. The FDE color matches Great Lakes Firearm’s almost perfectly.
