I wanted to get something that wasn't the typical bar shaped safety. Although I don't like this one very much, it's hard on my thumb. It digs in right there where nail meets flesh. Not that it's a bad safety just not what I was looking for, it's probably a little easier to manipulate but the design isn't what I want.

I like the size and shape of this grip. I have a left-handed rifle, and this grip allows me to operate the controls much easier the X2. the contour on the back I really nice plus the rubber padding makes it unnoticeable when I'm shooting.
