Most Helpful Positive Review .50 beowulf
I used both the poly upper and lower to build my .50 Beowulf and it holds up great. So when people say it's cheap and can barely handle a 22lr, just think im out there with it and using a big round. Everyone who held it says they like the feel and weight of it. Im also running the hera arms cqc stoc...

Most Helpful Negative Review If you're thinking Glock or Kel-Tec quality polymer; forget it. Toy grade plastic & pot metal.
Bought two for giggles, thinking I'd build a couple AR's in .22LR for my grandsons. The only people giggling is whoever cashed my check! These are garbage. No firearm quality polymer used in these. The plastic has a cheap toy grade feel to it and the metal insert for the barrel extension, etc., is ...

Developed crack at from lug

by Chickenhawk, from AZ, United States Written on February 7, 2025
I was gifted this set. When I was cleaning the upper a few days ago, I noticed a crack in the plastic on the left side of the front lug. I tried reaching out by email and haven't heard back from ATI. But looked on their website and looks like it would not fall under warranty cuz I'm not the original purchaser and have no paperwork. So keep an eye for developing cracks by those lugs. I would not recommend spending $ on this. I only have it because someone gave it to me.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
Cons:
  • Can develop cracks
Best Used for:
  • Target shooting
Would recommend: No

Bought about a week ago with the intent of doing a polymer build, the barrel nut was no issue along with pins aligning with a few of my lower receivers still have yet to shoot, but will update once I get out to the range.
Pros:
  • Cheap
  • something new
Cons:
  • None

Lost hella accuracy

by daddyg, from KS, United States Written on June 19, 2022
Works to complete a gun might use the one I have left for a 22lr or could possibly be good on a .410 (if someone would sell the parts to build one. Used on a 6.5 Grendel would throw wild stuff all over the paper, lost a lot of gas pressure because of it too. Switched to a metal upper and all issues went away.

Not really impressed

by Sdt, Verified Owner from MS, United States Written on April 1, 2022
I didn’t expect aero precision quality at this price point but I did expect better. The upper is not in spec as I tried it on 3 different lowers and the pin holes don’t line up . The rear pin hole is oblong and the metal areas look and feel like die cast. I may build a 22lr out of it at some point but, personally, I just don’t trust it. It might be ok for a larger caliber but I’m not going to be the one to try it.
Pros:
  • Cheap
Cons:
  • out of spec

Worth every penny

by Kev, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on February 4, 2022
This is worth every penny. I one hundred percent recommend this upper. The trigger group that comes with their lower is weird but other than that this upper and lower have had no issues. I'm running a pistol bolt carrier in mine, and it works like a champ.

Trash...Don't Waste Your Money

by ABigFatAsian, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on January 29, 2022
Thought to give this a chance for Carbon fiber build...well save your money. Went to torque the barrel nut and didn't even get to 30ft lbs. and the pivot pin lug snapped. Now having trouble getting the barrel nut loosened. Can't believe this trash is being sold...would have left the Stars blank but it required me to at least put one star. My Nerf gun has a better quality plastic then this thing.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Everything about this thing
Best Used for:
  • Nothing, unless you want to throw it at someone cause it's a terrible door stop!

light use range toy

by Jerico23ban, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on January 22, 2022
I waited to review this as I enjoy first hand experience but unfortunately few years and only few hundred rounds My wife like it her toy but we couldn’t get it to zero after few different sets of sights then a red dot it would zero 3-5 rounds later be off further and further with use eventually we set it left it and cooled down and was on for a few shots
After on and off tinkering over and over again we figured out build up material where barrel seats was flexing and would allow barrel to sag and pivot after smoothing and heavy grease reassembly 3 times about 5 MOA first few shots then opens up making it just that a range toy

Never failed to shoot or flex and caused failure but will never be zeroed
Pros:
  • Cheap & budget friendly, functions.
Cons:
  • Flexible plastic
Best Used for:
  • Range only

Broke the pivot pin lugs

by Bryan, from IL, United States Written on January 19, 2022
Bought this for a .22 plinking rifle a while ago, just got around to assembling it. Went to torque the barrel on to 30 ft/lbs and the front pivot pin lug sheared right off. Very disappointed. The metal is a cheap cast pot metal that is then held together by injection molded polymer. The metal I believe is a Zinc alloy that does not inspire confidence at all. If I were able to get it torques properly I think .22 would be just fine, but I would not trust this at all for .223/5.56mm
Pros:
  • lightweight, inexpensive
Cons:
  • poor quality
  • fragile
  • quality and lifespan
Best Used for:
  • nothing - do not buy

I own a ATI AR-15 Omni hybrid 10.5" Pistol. It shoots straight and true.

by Jon, from FL, United States Written on November 5, 2021
My ATI works perfect. It is light and sure firing all ammo 223 and 556.I. Have used over 1000 brass and steel with few problems at all. I found it likes brass 223 and Red Oops 223 best! Please come into this century and truss this ATI brand.
Pros:
  • Light, strong
Cons:
  • You forget you are holding it it is light
Best Used for:
  • Any use as it is light and accurate and strong
