Most Helpful Positive Review Great adjustable stock with cheek riser and optional side saddle
I wanted an adjustable stock for my Mossberg 590A1. After doing hours of research, I saw that Mossberg uses ATI adjustable stocks on their Scorpion 500 shotgun. Since ATI parts come from the factory on a Mossberg, I knew it would work with no issues. After holding a Scorpion at a LGS, I liked how th...

Most Helpful Negative Review Nice upgrade, poor instructions
Enjoyed upgrading my 870. The parts and accessories were all in the box. I did have to hand fit a few if the pieces and I feel that the instructions could be clearer. Overall I'm satisfied, but it did take me a good bit longer than expected due to the poor directions and the poor quality of the smud...

practical 12g modification

by Bubbacup, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on May 15, 2026
Got a Maverick 88 12g and wanted a padded stock I could use QD sling attachment and keep a short length of pull, this met those requirements. Instructions are clear, adapters for each compatible shotgun are included in the box. Installation was easy. It’s solid in feel, tight/no wiggle. I find the overall ergonomics to be comfortable. It has an adjustable cheek riser, the size of the screw travel slots are not very long, maybe like 3/4 inch? I think it looks decent, for a “poverty tier” home defense shotgun this is a perfect upgrade, adds a little more comfort against recoil and some size flexibility that is helpful for women and multi-user situations…all with out being too expensive for the gun it’s being put on. The finish level isn’t what you would probably choose for a higher quality gun, I had to file off a few bits of excess polymer at the molding seams for example, and you would probably want a model very specific for your gun, on my Maverick there is a small amount of space between the front part of the stock’s pistol grip and the back part of the gun’s trigger guard. It doesn’t affect the function or feel of either, it’s just not a perfect match if that bothers you. I got FDE to match up with the Mavericks’s original furniture, it’s nearly identical, close enough that you can’t spot any difference between forend and stock when installed. I love my Maverick with this thing on it, I liked it so much my husband tried my gun and he thought it was much better t...

This DOES 100% fit CZ 712 Utility

by Missiontrails, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on April 26, 2026
Just installed it. You use the included Tristar adapter. I have been looking for a replacement stock for the CZ for YEARS, and since ATI doesn’t specifically state that it fits the CZ I never bought it. Then in reddit forums someone else confirmed the fit.

Install on my Remington 870 marine magnum was mostly straightforward. It substantially increased my LOP which helped with acquisition and accuracy. Nice padded stock.

Nice upgrade

by CS888, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on March 30, 2026
I Bought this for turkey hunting. One issue is the factory fiber sights now too low when cheek is welded. Factory stock angles down more than this. A new red dot sight will likely solve the problem. Took off a start because of that. Install was easy.

Only buy this if you’re prioritizing aesthetics

by Evan, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on September 14, 2025
I will admit I got caught up in the “cool” factor on this stock - it looks great! The pistol grip itself feels great in my hand, the recoil absorbing pad and grip back strap give a great first impression that they will help with felt recoil, and the instructions were straightforward. As I started the install though, reality set in - the whole thing is plastic, including the “buffer tube”. I was still willing to give it a shot, but then I hit a roadblock when I realized my pistol grip was missing a pre-drilled hole on the back of the pistol grip to secure the buffer tube. This is the only screw that secures the entire buffer tube & stock assembly onto the pistol grip by the way… I get the impression that one rough drop could spell trouble for this stock. Rather than try to drill the missing hole myself and make this thing work, I just decided to return it and pick up a Magpul stock instead. Overall I feel like the total build quality doesn’t instill confidence that this thing is suited for the recoil and abuse a 12ga shotgun will see. Plus the bad QC of a missing screw hole that’s crucial to the install of the stock makes me further doubt the quality. Seems like others have had luck, so roll the dice if you are prioritizing looks and want to take the chance. Also just FYI, the LOP on this when fully collapsed on a Mossberg 500 is about normal length still (watch out if you’re hoping for something shorter) and this grey is a much lighter tone than Magpul’s grey forend if you we...

it depends

by ken, Verified Owner from KY, United States Written on April 13, 2025
Bought this stock thinking that it would shorten the stock of my shotgun for my kids to use but at it shortest position it is only 1/2 inch shorter. It will make the length of pull seriously longer but not shorter. Had to remove the recoil pad to get it short enough for my kids to hunt with and that’s still on the long side for them.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Adjust for 40 sights

Good stock

by Hoss, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on March 22, 2025
Stock went on great with no problems. The problems come in to play when you have to remove the trigger assembly. The stock needs to be loosened and turned to get trigger out. The length of pull is also long. All the way retracted is about the same length of pull as the original stock. Other than that, easy to put on and seems steady
