Most Helpful Negative Review Cheaply made
I recently purchased this and am completely disappointed by the quality. It feels like cheap plastic , almost like something that would be thrown from a Mardi Gras float. Seriously Ruger, no aluminum or metal at all , plastic Picatinny Rails, plastic buffer tube , the thing even squeaks at the receiver because its just two plastic pieces molded together . Plastic flip up sights , I would honestly trust the durability of a nerf gun more than this configuration.

Entry level plastic

by Ryan, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on July 2, 2020
Not recommended. Parts float around the ATI box (not opticsplanet) and mine was missing several hardware items. Hardware is cheap, strips easy. Most of this kit is some cheap plastic or polymer but the mold lines aren't very good lots of imperfections. For the price there are plenty of other options out there. I suggest Hogue or Magpul.
Pros:
  • Looks cool I guess
Cons:
  • price
  • Quality
  • Packaging
  • cheaply built
Best Used for:
  • Landfill

Horrible first and only experience

by John, from IL, United States Written on March 20, 2020
Stock was sent missing screw. Optics planet referred me to manufacturer. ATI sent me screw which was incorrect. Then tried to tell me it was the correct screw! Then after 2 weeks back and forth acknowledge the stock was different then the one they sent the screw for! I’m still waiting for a screw!
Best Used for:
  • Digging holes in the garden

MIssing parts, bottom picatinny rail, fore-end cap has single self screwed mount, came scratched

by S, from CA, United States Written on May 1, 2019
I could not be more unhappy with lack of packaging and missing parts, my ATI stock was literally bouncing around in a box until it arrived. Buffer tube was scratched and worn because of this. Missing 1 mount for cheek rest, missing bottom picatinny rail that is mentioned in isntructions. Fore-end cap is cheap, and mounts with screw on bottom, screw in properly tight and it sits crooked. Entire kit feels cheap and is not the kit that came out several years ago that was all metal. After slowly assembling over 1 hour, this is going back.

missing hardware

by Dave, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on June 26, 2018
Fits pretty well, nice design, but the directions could be a little better. Be prepared to go shopping for hardware. Mine had a bunch of screws left over that don't fit this kit. I'll be looking for (3) nuts and (2) screws at the hardware store today.
