1st of all, OPTICS PLANET said 'Availability was IN STOCK'. NOPE, I ordered on 9/27/20 and picked up from Post Office on 10/26/2020, or delivery would have been 10/27/20. 2nd, The product itself. I really didn't have high expectations as past experience with AR conversions have inherent problems. One of our CCW instructors uses some type of Glock 22 conversion on his training pistol, always seems to have a feeding issue. Best optics ready option for Glock training, but terrible customer support from the manufacturer!

Bought a second kit to have an optics equipped Glock trainer. My older model has probably close to 8000 rounds through it. I love the older model but it's ammo finicky, and when dirty, it turns into a single shot. Having said that, this is the only exact match for Glock ergonomics with an optic. I was disappointed you need to purchase a separate plate and they copied the actual MOS style mounting system, wow what a crappy mounting system! No screw info is listed and the manufacturer seemed to want to insult me instead of answer my questions. He was upset because I said for the price, I was surprised it didn't come with a plate or extra screws and instructions. I guess I'm stuck going to the hardware store and trying to match the tiny thread pattern. Really bad customer service on the part of Advantage Arms; I hope I don't need warranty work!

Pros:

Exact match for Glock ergonomics.

Cons:

Uses a MOS plate system.
Doesn't come with a plate, extra screws, or info on the screw threads.
Advantage Arms won't even answer a customers question.
Amomo finicky and doesn't run dirty

The slide itself seems to work just fine, but the magazines are absolutely terrible, and without those, the entire thing is useless.

What a game-changer!

What a game-changer! Love the ability to use my standard frame to train with, but save money on ammo. (I just got 9mm at $0.38 per round while .22lr is down around $0.09 per round) Fits my frame like it belongs there. Mags seem to work just fine. And the included case is fantastic. Included instructions are thorough and helpful, especially the guide on what ammo to use. Can't wait to get this out onto the range this weekend!

Just got it in the mail and can’t wait to take it to the range. I just got my Advantage Arms suppressor last week. Next range trip is gonna feel like an Advantage Arms sponsor of sorts. I bought the conversion kit so I can take family and friends interested in shooting to the range.

Amazing Kit

I have the Gen 1-3 Glock 17 MOD CA model, I took it to the range and put 100 rounds down on target. I read that the sight might be off by a little out of the box, mine were bit by 1/2” nothing that I am upset about as I plan on getting them sighted in and attaching a red dot sight to the slide cutout.

The unit itself feels very light weight but solid. I tried a multitude of different ammunition manufactures and had no issues with 95% of the ammunition. I had 5 bullets that failed to me due to ammo manufacturer issues not slide issues. I have had more issues out of my other stock 22lr firearms from the manufactures.

Over all an amazing product!!!!

It's nice that I don't have to buy another pistol, I can just change the slide from 9mm to 22 very quickly. That's the beauty about Glock 17 gen 3, I'm sure other Glocks has it too. Overall great product and it tells you what ammo to use to prevent malfunctions.
