Mr. Wilson, is that you?
And I could be wrong here, but... isn't this THE SAME exact trigger sold by Wilson Combat for over 1c note? Good steel, good company, great vendor. This one's a winner in my book. I've not dropped it in yet, but feels very spot on solid. Word is you get sub 3lbs pull (depending on where you measure,...

Strange tension drop between stages
First, this Aero Precision 2-Stage is a Schmid trigger with Aero branding. This is not a bad thing, but because Schmid makes a fairly popular and inexpensive 2-stage trigger, identical trigger, disconnector & hammer sets are sold under the branding of other companies.
My trigger has almost 3 disti...

Aero Precision 2-Stage Trigger Set
Price was right and OpticsPlanet was the only place I could find the item in stock. Very smooth and crisp trigger.

Meh for me, ok for "cheap"
I may be spoiled on geissele and thus harsh here, but i am a bit disappointed. For half the cost of an SSA, I got half the performance. Except part of the cost of the geissele is the name, so not quite the same value although it does function fine if it's all you can afford. If you're dead set on a 2 stage trigger and can only afford this, it is reliable, but a sloppy first stage and not a crisp break at all imo. Again, I am a bit geissle spoiled.
Pros:
- Finish
- Cost, kind of
Cons:
- Feel, performance
Best Used for:
- Sub $100 2 stage

Very nice 2-stage for the $
Relatively easy drop-in install for an instant upgrade over an OEM/Mil-spec trigger. Very crisp with a positive reset.

2 Stage Trigger
Installed on 6.5 Grendel. Smooth first stage take-up. Second stage minimal travel with break at just over 4 lbs. Nice trigger for the money!
Would recommend: Yes
It's a ok trigger
Easy install( although pretty much every trigger is) I mean it's a ok trigger, better than milspec but not nearly as sweet as the giessele 2 stage triggers I have, mind you this aero is almost 4 times cheaper. For a budget build yeah sure I'd recommend this but if ya really want a sweet trigger save your cash and go with giessele. But that's just my opinion amd ya know what opinions are like lol

Broke at 5.8 lbs.
I was excited to open the package when this trigger arrived because I had been needing to upgrade the mil spec unit in one of my “long-range,” AR rifles for a while. I thought I had finally found a quality trigger that did not require me to secure another mortgage. After I carefully installed it, I hooked my trigger pull gauge to it and started pulling. Once it finally went-off, the gauge read 5.8 lbs. Pretty disappointing.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Lots of creep and much heavier pull than advertised.
Would recommend: No
