at 300 blackout upper
as a career law enforcer officer i can’t tolerate any weapon that malfunctions. This ran perfectly right out of the box. Smooth feeding and straight shooting .

One piece upper
One piece upper receiver only fits an Aero handguard. I have large hands but this handguard is huge. It's as fat as a quad rail and isn't This one returnable. The top front of the handguard has a 5 slot proprietary pic section that is screwed into the handguard. What a dumb design. Although there are M-MOK slots they start too close to the fixed section which prevents mounting a pic section abutting the front without modification. Real estate is precious on a short handguard. I have purchased a lot of Aero parts in the past but this design has turned me off to their stuff.

great upper for AR builds
This is a great upper. Super light weight and pairs well with an Aero lower. I put this on an Aero I’m going to hunt with. The hand guard is about double the size of the Atlas model. Price on OP was cheaper than any other website I could find. I’ve always had great product with anything Aero Precision.

Great Aero Upper
I really like the 10 in AERO PERCISION UPPER. The hand guard is lightweight and big. It makes the pistol feel great not to small like your hands getting close to muzzle. I did a barrel break-in and cleaned it after every shot for like 20 rnds. It's a laser beam at 150yrds . My only grip is it looks like the barrel is not dimpled( set screws looks flush . ) i may not get a center set if I change out to a AERO Adjustable gas block. but a ABSOLUTELY GREAT SHOT. does not feel over gassed or violent to shoot/train with. Recoil is nominal. 300AAC is a great pistol, hard hitting ROUND. Optic planet is a great company to work with fast and reliable. THANK U OP

Aero 300 upper
Fit and finish is exceptional and as nice as my 2k Daniels rifles. Would recommend aero products to anyone. Got one in 300 and 223. Cerakote Is even and looks great on the FDE. I would recommend pairing with an aero lower

Second to non
Aero did an amazing job making a quality ar upper for almost any task I am building this for deer hunting and varmints but to each their own. The packaging was great came in a nice padded cardboard box that was in another padded box, but prices have been getting high so it’s great that optics planet has been keeping the prices really low which is super rare right now. Over all an amazing product that will be bought again. �

Fine quality, great fit and nice features
This took a long time (FDE was longer) to arrive due to availability and is in the mid price range, not the cheapest but not the most expensive. It was worth the wait, this is high quality and runs very nicely. Dropped in the other Black Friday spoils to make a new rifle - an Aero Precision BCG and Geissle super charging handle, a Primary Arms red dot to complete the upper. Assembled an Aero Precision lower with a CMC single stage trigger and Magpul furniture and headed off to the range. The red dot zeroed in nicely and was soon dropping rounds in less than 1" circle at max range ~40 yd for initial indoor sight in, will see how it does at 100+ later on. I think this is the price/value sweet spot for 5.56/300 uppers.
