Perfect for M5 Upper
Please note that you need an M5 upper or an adapter for this rail to work. Comes with small torx mounting screws. It's the quality you would expect from Aero. I plan on building a second upper in 6.5 and will use an M5E upper with this rail.

Great Handguard No Barrel Nut
This is a great part, very well made and matched my Aero Precision Upper perfectly.
Only negative is Optics Planet Does not note that the handguard doesn't include a barrel nut, I've never found this on others products, there should be a note on their site.

Aero Precision Handguard
Needed an handguard with a internal diameter wide enough to tuck a suppressor, this one is perfect and I believe one of the only at a great price.

I bought the aero enhanced upper because I like the idea of it mounting straight to the actual upper but when I received it, I noticed that the piece that it mounts to is pretty good size so with that being said, I ordered a handrail thinking can’t be that bad you would have to be a giant to hold onto the thing

M5E1 hard to beat for the money
Solid lock up and great finish. Very easy to install. I’m using this rail to build an 18 inch 6.5 creedmoor for hunting coyotes and shooting steel at the range. I look forward to getting to the range and testing out.

So, let me just start off with the build quality of the handguard is what you come to expect from Aero, but here's my gripes.
1) First, the price of this rail should include a barrel nut.
2) You have to use Aero's barrel nut. And the timing on it has to be PERFECT!
3) I do not like how the rail does not match up perfectly- I ordered the matching M5 rail to go with my M5 upper for a reason. The gap tolerance should be on point.
4) and lastly, this is just a personal preference thing, but I do not like the little beaver tail or whatever you'd like to call it that comes over the dust cover. Obviously the dust cover is not obstructed, but imo it just looks weird.
I was going for a M110 clone on this build. I know Aero doesn't hold a candle to KAC, but I'm poor, so this is a "Gucci" build for budget.

Is very solid
This is a very sturdy setup. I like it. It fits up nice and tight solid when it's fastened down just does the job I would recommend this to anybody that's looking For a strong and sturdy set up You can't go Wrong with this Set up

Got it fast
Although I have not officially "installed" the hand guard it appears to be exactly as expected. Everything lines up with the barrel nut (Aero) and the color (FDE) is an exact match to the Aero upper receiver. Good it quick with free shipping. I am happy with the purchase.
