Cool product.... but optics planet does not clarify that this does not fit the VG6 Epsilon 556SL... the item itself is top notch, but really wish I wouldn't have wasted so much time finding this out the hard way. You have to read between the lines of the written descriptions for the Epsilon series.....

Just what I needed
Excellent fit and finish. Secure and effective at directing blast forward. Looks pretty cool too. Range buddies appreciated it, kinda like not having your car radio at full blast at a stoplight. ..I will definitely be buying another one for my other AR. Wish the made it in 9mm

Using this on an 11.5 ar with Epsilon 5.56 this did a great job of keeping the concussion forward of the shooter (me). Just adding this for the 200 words which is totally not necessary because I only needed 1 sentence to describe my experience with this product.
Pros:
- Worked out great at an indoor range.
Cons:
- You still get fireballs and blast in your face from the top ports of the brake but you wont need 2 sets of earpro. lol

Help out your neighbors
I bought this as well as the Gamma to replace my flash hider on my Tavor X95. So far I have only used the Gamma and Cage together, and it seems to be little difference in felt recoil. I asked my range neighbors and they said they did feel the concussion was further out, but the tavor is probably not the rifle to test this. Be sure to remove any accessories that may be near the muzzle because the blast will definitely shoot to the sides and get gas and residue all over.

I purchased the VG6 precision C.A.G.E device to reduce the side concussion felt and heard when punching out high velocity ammo through the always beautiful and wildly popular, highly functional VG6 Epsilon precision muzzle brake/compensator/flash hider located atop my gorgeous AR15. Like the cherry on top, its sweet!

Wheres the Boom?
This is what you need if you do a lot of shooting in a indoor range. Everyone within 30 feet of you will be thankful. The cage does an awesome job of dissipating the muzzle noise and will make your range time much more enjoyable. No more dirty looks or back handed comments from the other lanes nearby. Probably one of the best investments you’ll make for your weapon.

Great addition
Noticeable reduction in concussion without any noticeable reduction in performance. The Epsilon is an awesome comp but the extra concussion cant be ignored. With the cage it is a non factor. I immediately ordered another one of each for my other AR. (beware- there are more than one version of Epsilon & while it can still be installed on some, it doesn't seem to be designed for any but the original)

Great concussion altering!
The CAGE is a nice add on when shooting around others or if you just want to minimize the concussion the gamma puts out. The CAGE installs easily. Make sure you keep a close eye on the little piece it comes with for install. It prevents any damage to the vg6 gamma and makes install a breeze. It does collect a lot of concussion debris, so make sure you remove it And clean the comp underneath it. It does not alter the VG6 Gamma’s ability as a comp or brake. The recoil and muzzle movement with or without CAGE is exactly the same. It also does a great job of minimizing concussion, ground signature/dust blow back if shooting prone or near ground. The CAGE, for me, does seem to spray some gases and mess back on your barrel, about 2-3” back. It seems maybe some of the concussion gasses sneak backwards, just an extra wipe or two will take care of it. Overall, I recommend.

great product
Great product a lot smaller then expected just a tad bigger the there break. Wich it's a good thing if your looking for something that dosen't add too much weight to the front of your rifle. Does it's job and it dosen't affect my brakes abilities

Love the vg6 cage
I wish I could upload a picture to really do the vg6 cage and vg6 gamma 300 blk out justice. I run the vg6 cage and vg6 gamma setup on my 300 blackout with the sightmark ultrashot r-spec and it shoots lights out. My shot groups are tight at 25, 50 and 100 yards with 110, 125, 145, 150 and 220 grain ammo. The only thing I wish vg6 did make was a tandem silencer setup for their muzzle brakes. It is loud but it doesn't matter it gets the job done with fast, flat, accurate and lethal shooting.
