Exactly the thermal I had hoped for
We have 30 acres cross fenced for the goats and 50 more that’s wild. I watched a coyote in an adjoining open field at about 450 yards come out and run the bar ditch towards me. At four hundred yards I couldn’t dial in the image but I could tell by way the heat signature moved it was a coyote. He cam...

Purchased little under a year ago shot with it roughly 15 rounds through put the year and all of a sudden no warning went to cut on my agm t25-256 and the screen was black and only showing cross hairs no matter how many times I cut it on and off or left the batteries out still would not come back to...

AGM Rattler TS25-256 & TS35-384
Rattlers are covered by a 3year warranty…send it back! I had two electrical problems (software update fails and battery life issues) with my TS35-384 after 2.5 years of use. I sent it to AGM for repairs on a Monday and had a completely new replacement by Friday. Absolutely the BEST customer service experience of my life regarding any hunting/outdoor equipment!

Dots in my screen
would be nice if NVG models had dropdown menus with pictures of the different screen blemishes with different prices instead of the current setup that is very little help. I feel i overpaid for the big spot in my $4,000 nvg and wish i had just called the guys from nightvisionforless.com and gotten a better idea of what i was buying. They are a little more usually but i would pay more for less disappointment.

A good thermal for the money
You get what you can afford if you are balling on a budget this scope is the way to go it doesn't have the identifiable reach I would like to have but there again you get what you pay for. if anyone would be so kind as to go fund me a higher level one that would be terrific it would be for a very noble cause it would be protecting me and my family from some nasty people.
Pros:
- very well made has some bells and whistles
Cons:
- Identification rang is low.
Best Used for:
- Open fields with in 150 yards

- Great recticles
Cons:
- 0
Best Used for:

Great scope of your getting into thermal
As one of the more budget friendly options when it comes to thermal scopes it was a good choice for beginners and experienced thermal hunters alike who don’t wanna spend half a years pay on a scope I love mine and have had little to no problems at all with it. Good battery life for light hunting (4 hours ish) but comes with a cable to connect an external battery for longer uses very easy to use and great controls especially when paired with the app.

Rattler 25-256
Looking for a thermal but don’t have the big bucks to spend? The AGM Rattler is a good product for the $1200 price range. I hunt hogs and coyotes and if you have good weather and you know what you’re looking good you can identify these animals out to 300 yards. May not seem like that far but at night you’d be surprised what you can sneak up on. So if you’re looking to get into the nocturnal hunting give AGM a try, you won’t regret it
Pros:
- easy zeroing
- Heat signatures up to 800 yards
- Takes pictures, and videos.
- Has a sleep mode so you do not have light in your face as you move around and Is quickly activated again
- 5 different reticles
- Can be used in day time, just do not look at the sun
Cons:
- NUCs a bunch when it is cold, causing screen to freeze over and over
- For me the scope has to be on the first slot on the rail for eye relief
- focus point is hard to pinpoint sometimes
Best Used for:
- Beginners getting into night hunting

Value Thermal
If you plan to shoot inside of 100 yards this is perfect. I've killed a dozen or more hogs with this scope so far. Anything further than 100 yards, the 256 resolution starts to get fuzzy when zoomed in and identification is less than desirable. Setup was a breeze and sighting in was pretty easy after reading the instructions and YouTube video
Pros:
- value
Cons:
- low resolution
Best Used for:
- Inside 100 yards hunting
Would recommend: Yes
