AIM 3X12X32 1INCH SCOUT SCOPE
Really nice scope for the money. Installed on s&w xvr. 3 shots at 25 yrds. Was good and 22 rounds at 100 yards was keeping a 2 inch pattern. At higher power had to move a little closer to get full vision at 12 power but was okay. It has the highest power that I could find for my xvr. I'd recommend b...

seemed nice for the money, couldn't take recoil
I bought this scout scope and mounted it on my scout rifle using a Burris PEPR mount. .308 is a scout rifle standard so the scope should be rated for .308 after 10 shots at the range the crosshairs inside the scope started to rotate. scope is still level and mount is secure, but crosshairs are now ...

A lot of bang for the buck
I have three of these, each mounted on TC Contenders and Encores in .223, 256 Wim Mag and 357 REM Max. Not a problem with any of them. I also use Burris pistol scopes. Can’t tell the difference. Much better than the Simmons variable.
Pros:
- AO down to 25 yards
Cons:
- NONE found
- none found yet
Best Used for:
- Pistol

Almost there... But didn't make it.
Initially I was pretty impressed with the scope. Got a decent zero, seemed to work pretty well. Then I went to tighten up my zero, and the more I adjusted the knobs the worse it got. Then my magnification adjustment came loose and would no longer work. Sight picture was ok at least than 8 or 9x, above that it was very tricky.

doesnt live up to its looks
I was really hoping to enjoy this scope. I needed a long eye relief option for my M44 Nagant and thought this would fit the bill. It looked sleek and the reticle was perfect for my taste. Unfortunately that’s where the appreciation ended. When I went to bore sight the optic, the turrets would not change the POI. What’s worse is when I went to dial back the magnification, it no longer went down to 3x. I readjusted the turrets and got it down to 3x but then it’s wouldn’t dial up past 9x. I’m returning the item and hope to find something that can actually perform
Pros:
- Reticle and clarity
Cons:
- Adjustability
- function
Best Used for:
- that decorative wall rifle
Would recommend: No
Could use redesign
Turret knobs super hard to turn. Numbers are on top of knobs and no reference mark on tubes. Knobs have 4 marks between numbers which is supposed to mean quarter inch clicks. Knobs are marked one eighth clicks. It’s like parts from different models were used to put the scope together. Knobs need to be tall enough to put numbers on the side and have a reference mark for setting knobs to zero. Eyepiece flops around when trying to focus reticle.
Pros:
- Scope is fairly bright.
Cons:
- All the above
Would recommend: No
3-12 SCOUT STYLE SCOPE
Very nice scope. Upgraded from the 2-7 power that came on the rifle. Very difficult to find a short scope with higher power for these type of rifles. Very quality optics. Highly recommend. Difficult to find scopes with long eye relief.
Best Used for:
- Scout style rifles with long eye relief.
Would recommend: Yes
