great besides battery life
Awesome optics for a pistol or ar pistol like 300bo. Aimpoint is a great company and make solid products. The only bummer is the battery life. You might have to change the battery every month. Other than that the glass is super clear and everything else works amazing. Easy to zero and looks pretty cool as well. Optics planet is always great and fast.

Super Tiny and Great Red dot
This is a game changer for how light and small this is. Im putting this on my rifles it's so solid and it's been performing great. The dot is very precisise and can be adjusted easily. Cant wait to get more of these.

Not for all PDW's/Sub Guns
Purchased this for my Sig MPX wanting as small a profile as I could get. Unfortunately the ACRO does NOT offer enough elevation adjustment to bring rounds on target with the MPX or my MP5 clone. Mounted the ACRO with the intended B&T 22mm mount and was unable to zero the optic where other red dots have zeroed perfectly.
The adjustment screws turns almost entirely freely with little to no noticeable click making precise adjustments slightly more difficult. I assumed something was wrong with my ACRO and contacted Aimpoint. They had me send it in but returned it saying it was in working order leading me to conclude this optic is just not intended for all PDW's or sub guns.
I write this as a US Marine with a lot of experience sighting in a wide range of optics.

The other review are both right. Great Optic, monthly battery changes.
The other two review on here are spot on. This is a great optic, but on setting 9 I have to change my battery about every month.
When the battery gets low the optic dials back to 7 and won’t go any higher, so it doesn’t just go off on you. I use it until it dials back and then change the battery.
I use settings 8 and 9 typically, 8 at night and 9 in the day. Honestly, I don’t think most people would use the lower settings. So if you want a clear optic, with a closed emitter and don’t mind changing your battery every month, then this could be for you.
