I put an SRO in my new Staccato XC and the field of view was nice but the SRO is so unreliable (mine at least) that I’d lose the dot through half of my shots. Not an issue with the ACRO, the dot stays on and is really crisp. Even for someone with a stigmatism. Glad I got the Sniper Grey too because it matches my gun better than black would’ve. Really nice optic. Buttons aren’t mushy like the SRO too.

Ive wanted an acro since they came out. Now i financially got one and am not one bit disappointed. Subjective but i love the mailbox enclosed optics and how they look. Dot is crisp. Controls are intuitive and feel perfect. Clarity is amazing. Light transmission is top notch for nightvision use. I would 100% recommend. Even at its price.

If you want an optic that just works, even when everything else’s getting dirty, wet, hot, or hammered by recoil, the ACRO P-2 is about as good as it gets. Aimpoint has built a sight that trusts you to depend on it — one that gives up nothing in terms of toughness, reliability, battery life, or optical clarity.
For tactical, duty, or self-defense applications where failure is not an option, the ACRO P-2 doesn’t just meet expectations — it sets the standard. Even for range toys or competition, if you value precision with a rugged build, it’s an investment that pays dividends in confidence and performance.

It's an amazing red dot, a light pricey but well worth it. I have it as a backup on my 16 in rifle at the 12 o'clock . Great glass and great dot

Built like a tank, but teenie tiny and not heavy at all. You can immediately tell this is a duty ready optic. Buttons on the side are easy to push and clearly labeled. Dot is clear. Elevation and windage knobs are nice metal quality and give distinct clicks. This is one of those products you don’t worry about breaking on you, which is good because it’s a vital piece of lifesaving equipment if someone is shooting at you.

BLUF: This thing is massive and will print badly on a CCW, but is durable and has one of the best mounting schemes available.
I put this on a Gen 5 Glock 19 MOS to take over EDC duties from an older pistol with a smaller optic (RMR). Performance-wise the brightness, dot quality, and glass clarity meet Aimpoint’s reputation. The window size is exactly what is needed to track a dot through recoil. The controls are intuitive and zeroing is simple. Really my only criticism is the bulk of the enclosure itself, but that hasn’t prevented me from carrying it.

4th ACRO. Had battery issues with my first one. Contacted Aimpoint and they replaced it.. took about a week total for them to get mine and send a new one out. Shot it … liked it so much I started replacing the RMR’s I was running the ACRO’s.
10/10 Will keep using and putting on new toys.
