I got the Aimpoint Micro several years back. I then followed up with getting the 3X magnifier. As expected, the optics are great. To get the magnifier to mount, I went with Aimpoint again. But then they only had the twist-off mount - who would really want to take the time to twist off the magnifier and then put it in their pocket for storage to shoot 1x???, especially those of you that do it for a living (Thank you to those ALL that serve!)

So when I saw this, I got it without hesitation. I suppose it took them a little time to figure out the design to keep such a low profile. But I will say that the flip mount works as expected - co-witnessed to the red dot, conveniently twists out of the way. To Aimpoint quality standards. Sure the price is up there for flip mounts, but you get what you pay for. And if you already have the Aimpoint Micro and the Aimpoint 3X Magnifier, you've run the marathon. Run the lap in the stadium to get across the finish line and get the Aimpoint Flip to Side Mount for your 3X Magnifier. Completes the package well.

Works perfectly with the aimpoint 3xc magnifier. The mount is sturdy plus the qd system is a big plus. Quality product from aimpoint as Usual. Perfect for home defense and close to mid range use. The only downside to this product is it’s too expensive. Had a hard time deciding if i will get the product. All worth it in the end.

This item is of sturdy material and works perfectly. The Quick Detach function is really convenient. I haven’t used it for too long yet, but everything seems to be made to last. My only issue with it is the price.

I really like that you can either flip the magnifier off to the right to use the AimPoint for closer shooting or flip it into alignment for longer distance. Also, since the mount easily twists off, you can completely remove it for safe storage of your magnifier or use it as a hand-held magnifier off your weapon. High quality, as you would expect from Aimpoint.

looked everywhere for this and it seems that only opticsplanets had them. i'm also using this with a aimpoint 3x-c which works fabulous. expensive, but highly recommend this flip to side mount. very sturdy and well built.
