Fitment was horrible. Did not lay flat like it should have. Only 2 holes for receiver side of install.

I have this mounted on a 10/22 along with an ATI Fiberforce stock. It fits really well, with very few modifications. All I ended up having to do was remove the top handguard (now unneeded with the rails covering the top of the barrel anyway) from the stock and reverse the bottom rail (due to the built in sling mount on the front of the stock). Both things were very easy to do and installation took a total of about 10 minutes, even with no instruction in the box. Other reviews complained about having no screws but mine came with longer ones than standard to fit the thicker material of the rail. For the low price, it might be worth trying it on some other similar after market stocks also. I am pretty sure it would fit right up on the Hogue rubber overmold ones that taper towards the front, or the Choate Dragunov. Just about any of them where the front end of the stock is similar to the original (and is the same length) should work with little modification. You might have to do something with the bottom front rail like I did, but it's just 4 hex screws holding it on and easily either removed or switched around. Also there is included a spacer (included) to put between the regular barrel and the rail system, which can support the top rail if you delete the small bottom piece entirely.
The only thing I didn't like about this rail system is that it added a lot of weight towards the front of the gun. It is mounted on a gun with the ATI fiberforce stock which is already...

If you are looking for an easy way to add attachments to yourRuger 10/22 then look no further! This quad rail attaches in mere minutes and fits solidly. I read alot of reviews stating this product needed alittle modification in order to use, this was not the case. Pull the barrel strap off and place the 2 piece quad rail in place..done!! Be patient when installing the screws into the receiver, the are painted and are snug, I would recommend starting the screw and backing it out alittle after every turn to clean the threads from the paint so not to strip out. After seating the screw I backed them all the way out and installed a drop of blue loctite to each screw then reinstalled. So glad I did not have to purchase a replacement stock just get the look and attachment points I needed. As mentioned in the description this will only fit the originnal woodstock, otherwise you will more than likely have to modify. With this rail it really gave the woodstock 10/22 that mini 14 look we all love.
Pros:
- snug fit
- Easy Installation,
- Cosmetically Awesome
Best Used for:
- Easily adding accessories
- Original wood stock only

This is a great attachment to add whatever you need to your 1022. Plenty of space. It does make the forend pretty wide, so maybe the slender rail attachments are a better choice than what is provided, but those parts are usable. Personal preference. I got this to attach a bipod, and it should be fine for doing that. It splits 3 screws to mount to the reciever, but only has 2 holes. Regardless, it works fine and is tight. This fit my B-TM folding stock fine. The only thing I had to do was remove a very small amount from a portion of the rail to get the folder to close.
Pros:
- Allows for a multitude of attachment options
Cons:
- The front gets a bit heavier, but you bought it to attach heavier items too

Honestly....one of the best addon's for the money. I was looking at purchasing a different stock for my 10/22 when I came across this. I needed additional options for my attachments on my Ruger with the butler creek folding stock and this more then provided it. I now have my red dot, flashlight, green laser all on the same stock. Love it!!!
Pros:
- Price
- EASY INSTALL
- Quality build

Looking for a way to mount a red dot on my 10/22 and found this while looking around. Fit perfectly on the original wood stock. Going to use bottom rail to mount a bipod. Might mount some backup iron sights as I changed barrel also and have no sights

Mounting the top part is not a problem. When i tried to put the lower part on the forend, it just won't close because the factory stock is too thick for it. Otherwise, great quality and handsome quad rail. Just won't fit and i am not sure if it's worth sanding my forend...
