I think one would be better advised to buy the EGW. Its a much higher quality product, especially the mounting. I purchased the AIM product for a low cost experiment. Fits factory drilled and tapped holes.
Looks And works great.
Able to add accessories without compromising the scope.
I recommend this rail and would purchase again.

Solid base; but, needs altering for Ruger Mini 30 Tactical

This rail will not fit Ruger Mini 30 Tactical without machining. I wanted a longer base than the Ruger Factory base and it was marketed to fit Mini 14/30. I intend to mill and drill appropriate holes.It will then be a useful product for me. It may fit the Mini 14/30 Ranch Rifle, I'm not sure.

How to mount a rail sight on a weaver base

this is most reasonable priced item that actually works the way it is described. I put a red dot sight on it and fired three hundred rounds with no difficulties encountered. It is a mite too long to the rear, but I didn't place my red dote that far to the rear, as was an option. Love it.
