Shotgun rail
The rail was ordered and recieved without problems. It is very well made...using aircraft grade aluminum and fits extremely well. I wish they added some form of protection on the inside as it will eventually scratch the chassis but that is expected as it is meant to be tight. The new screws that came with it tighten very well. Careful not to strip them.
Rem.870 12 gauge smoth bore
Ordered this for a remington 870 12 gauge I have always been skeptical on scope saddles. I will honestly say this is a much better option than having the reciever drilled. I mounted a vortex scope on it and it is very accurate out to 150 yards. This product is very sturdy and tight. Very reliable.I wish I would have purchased years ago. I recommend very highly.

Very stable and tight mount to the shotgun.
I use it for a red-dot scope as a traditional scope might require a higher cheek weld.

Fits perfect and easy install on my 11-87. Will most likely take it back off and paint camo to match. I highly recommend getting an oversize operating handle as your hand will slide over the edge of the mount. That is next on the list for me.

Bought this for my 11-87 so that I could mount a scope on it. It fits and functions like it should. I plan on using it for turkey season mainly, but I can see where it could be used for deer or coyote hunting etc.

installed perfectly and looks great, I see no need to spend more money on other mounts. Optics planet is so easy to deal with and if you have a problem returns are free which is rare. I mounted a red dot with picattany base and the fit was excellent
