ALG Defense AK Recoil spring
One of my Polish AK's from the '70's was in need of a new recoil spring. Went with the ALG ordered from OpticsPlanet.
Installation and replacement was simple and the old AK now feels like it used to. Doesn't thump so much during firing. The new spring makes the bolt seem a little stiffer but the internals are not getting hammered so hard like they used to. Bought a second ALG AK recoil spring to have as a backup to my other AK's. Will buy again.

ALG Spring
I purchased the ALG spring to reduce recoil, I coupled this with a muzzle brake. The spring was challenging to install but it did work somewhat.

Better than factory
Much stiffer than the factory recoil spring. Helps with .30 cal recoil control especially when paired with a good muzzle brake

very good quality recoil spring definitely better original
Amazing recoil spring i put fostech trigger in my Pioneer Arms ak-47 and was having a little sluggish feeding issues this solved my problem

Must have for suppressed AK.
I have a few AK / AKMs that I run suppressors on and this recoil spring is the only upgrade you'll need to fix reliability issues, rather than bothering with gas regulators, ports, or ammo selection. After dropping this spring in my guns cycle perfectly with all types of ammo I've fed them. Highly recommend, especially as a first step if you're trying to tune you gun / slow down bolt return travel.

alg ak recoil spring
Just purchased alg recoil spring, just shot it last week before I installed and now I’m gonna take her out and see if I notice a difference in vibration like everyone says.

Huge difference
If your rifle is a golden oldie, this is a great update for a tired recoil spring. Was throwing cases 10 yds now they drop at 10 feet. Recoil is like holding a heavy .22, made on target alot faster.
