I bought a Haga Defense lower for my CZ Bren 2 . Normally I like Geissele single stage triggers but they recommend against them because of some dimensional issue . They recommended ALG as a viable option . When I saw they were a sister company to Geissele I thought it was a good choice . Single stage , nickel boron coated . Crisp break and short reset . Comes with 4 1/2 pound spring and 6 pound spring . Very good for a combat trigger . For the money , worth it but obviously not a Geissele . That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars . It’s a definite upgrade to what came stock on the Bren .

It’s a no-brainer if you want a nice enhanced mill spec trigger that does not cost you an arm and leg. It comes with two different springs for trigger pull weigh and a slave pin to make it easy to install. Works every time!

lots of milspec triggers are heavy, have tons of slop, etc etc. This one is tight, light, and has a good reset. I've used them in a few different builds over the years. I've handled better triggers cheaper and more expensive than it, but I've also found inconsistency with the cheaper ones. ALG tends to have a really good consistency for making a good product, which means you don't really have to question whether or not it's gonna be good for a reasonable price. A+

I love this trigger. It's the best trigger for the money, in my opinion, and I will definitely buy more for some of my upcoming builds. It's not too light or heavy, just right, considering it also has a break-in period. Anyone looking for a good, inexpensive trigger should try ALG Defense. You will not be disappointed.

If you are looking for a single stage trigger, this is it. 4.5 lbs is light enough IMO, it's fast and crisp. No need for Geissele's expensive and extra light triggers.
Pros:
- easy installation
- Great quality & function

After being gifted one of these triggers I absolutely fell in love with it, so much that I had to get another for a second build. I love the Nickel coatings for high corrosion resistance and slick finish. I love the positive reset, reliability, and simplicity of the enhanced mil-spec. I’m currently running the standard spring in one, and the lighter spring in a scoped setup. The standard spring is fast and positive without being excessively heavy. The lighter spring hasn’t had any problems yet and is a very nice change for longer range. The break feels great, nothing like the mil-spec feel, just a smooth clean snap. If you really try hard you can find a small bit of travel sometimes, but these parts want to slip apart with the appropriate pull weight and do so without any gritty feel. I highly recommend this trigger for anyone wanting a simple high quality upgrade without delving into the absurdly expensive and unreliable options.
Pros:
- Quality
- Affordable
- reliable
- Finish

My new ALG trigger surprised me with how crisp the release was and no more long pull to get there. This is my first aftermarket trigger and when I learned that ALG is owned by the wife of geiselle owner I knew the product would be top notch. Very happy with this purchase and I will soon add more to my other builds.
