Won't free fall
Not a bad mag overall, cheap (got mine for $12 ea in 2021) works, but will not free fall out of any lower I've tried them in, mil spec, billet, AR15/M4, ultralight, none of them.
Not due to buldge, as its the same if the mag is full or empty or anywhere in between.
Anti tilt, bright red follower, tool-less removable floor plate, stout springs.
Seems durable. Pretty ugly. FDE is just a smidge lighter than Magpul, though it may be due to the difference in polymer or texture. Black is black.
If one wants a cheap mag just for practice/fun/peeling mags out of magwells, this will work. If you wa...

Great as always!
I have so far had great luck with Amend2 magazines! I used this one with both 223 and 300 blackout ammo and it works great with both! I will say that with the 300, using 220gr sub's, the lips at the top of the mag tend to bulge out a tiny bit, only at the 10th (final) round, but the mag still works. Not sure why it only does it with those rounds because the case is the exact same as a .223 / 5.56. It could be that since the mags are limited, the tolerances of all components, including the rounds are at max, resulting in this happening. That said- my Magpul 10rd mags ALL bulge at the 10th / final round.
I would buy this again, and I plan to buy more
After trying several polymer magazines, I have decided to make the switch to Amend2 for all my poly rifle mags.

Great, as expected from A2!
I have a few different Amend2 mags. All of them are perfect, this one included! It is pinned for restrictive states, and retains the length of a normal magazine, for ease of use, and proper storage- i.e. in a mag pouch on a TAP or LBV, etc... These magazines fit perfectly in forged as well as lowers. They retain properly, using either a regular mag release, or a custom style. I use this and other A2 mags with the following types of mag release- GI / Mil Spec; Battle Arms Development; Strike ind; and AR Mag Lock. The mags insert, hold firm, and release, all perfectly. Also important to mention- they feed reliably! I have used A2 in regular 5.56, 300blk, 6.5 Grendel, and 22ARC. The Grendel and ARC mags are designed for Grendel. I prefer Amend 2 over any other mag- and I have tried most of them.
Pros:
- Works perfectly
Cons:
- None
