This mag is a great alternative for people who live in a restricted state! As always, Amend2 provided a great product! This holds and feeds both 5.56 in various weights/grains, and .300BLK, in both super and subsonic- from several different manufacturers. I have not yet found a 5.56, .223, or .300 round that will not reliably fit, and feed in this mag. Highly recommended!

I have four of these. I use them with both 6.5 Grendel, and 22ARC. All four mags consistently, and reliably load, hold, and feed both chamberings perfectly.
The above average size for a 10 rounder is helpful regarding magazine changes. I do a lot of bench rest, and bipod shooting, and these mags are small enough to still fit under both a rest, as well as a 6-13" bipod fully extended. I have not tried them with the bipod any lower, because that is just how I happen to shoot the guns that these mage are for.
I see several negative reviews, and I can say truthfully that I have had zero bad experience with these.
Another thing- the material takes spray paint well. I painted one, the one mainly used for the 22ARC, and it took three coats for complete coverage, and the paint is still there after almost a year.
These mags are great! Amend2 is the best brand I have tried, and I have tried lots of them.

I have so far had great luck with Amend2 magazines! I used this one with both 223 and 300 blackout ammo and it works great with both! I will say that with the 300, using 220gr sub's, the lips at the top of the mag tend to bulge out a tiny bit, only at the 10th (final) round, but the mag still works. Not sure why it only does it with those rounds because the case is the exact same as a .223 / 5.56. It could be that since the mags are limited, the tolerances of all components, including the rounds are at max, resulting in this happening. That said- my Magpul 10rd mags ALL bulge at the 10th / final round.

After trying several polymer magazines, I have decided to make the switch to Amend2 for all my poly rifle mags.

This little buffer retainer did wonders for my buffer! I have two of these, each is retaining a Kynshot hydraulic buffer- one carbine length, one rifle length. I started with the rifle length because I had a mil spec retainer, and as I had the upper & lowers apart, the buffer rotated just right, and sprung out of the tube. Luckily, my hand was there to stop it, or that could have been a bad situation. I'm sure it was a rare aituation, a perfect storm, but it happened. Since adding the VKTR HD buffer retainer, there have been zero problems. I checked the VKTR by manipulating the Kynshot around, trying to create a fail- and the VKTR did it's job! No failures. I then added one on a carbine with a Kynshot as well, just to be sure. I have not tried this on any buffer other than a Kynshot- so I can not say. However, I plan to add these to other rifles, and I'll come back and update the review.

To be frank, I was concerned about this, due to the low-end brand. That said, I ordered several mag loaders all at the same time, some for rifle, some for pistol. This one worked better than all the other rifle loaders I have used- from that order, and in general. Granted, I have not used nearly all of them, however, this one worked great for me!
I use it for .223. I found that due to the design, it lines up the rounds perfectly, and the boxy design helps the rounds stay lined up during feeding, which helps load the mag properly, and fast.
No mess, no rounds flying everywhere, no f-ing with it trying to get it to work. I just read the instructions, followed them, and it works great!
I had zero learning curve with this, unlike several other designs which take some practice and getting used to.
I wish they would make one for pistol rounds!

I built this AR in 22ARC using this barrel, a Hiperfire HPC556G2 micro brake, Anderson Adjustable gas block, JP polished spring, Kynshot carbine buffer, a BCA Side Charging upper/BCG, an Aero M4E1 Lower with Aero enhanced extension. Used a low-end free floating handguard for now, and a Magpul bipod. Added a Swampfox Patriot 6-24x50 FFP scope, with an Aero SPR mount.
After following Faxon's break-in guidelines, I am getting 1 MOA at 200yds (farthest I have went out so far), using a Lead Sled 2 and Hornady 88gr ELD Match.
This barrel has served me well! It slid into the BCA pretty snugly, without any heat, only using anti-seize. I built this to shoot far, with low recoil, and it fit the bill perfectly! Have not measured hits beyond 200yds, but our local range goes to 660, and that is the current goal- to get it out to that distance, and see how it does. I have high hopes for this barrel / rifle! This is the third Faxon barrel I have used, and all of them perform excellently for me!
I plan to install a JP bolt, and see if that makes any difference. Maybe change out the brake to a self-timing. If I remember to, I will update this review.

This is just a regular buffer tube kit. Nothing fancy. It fits and runs perfectly.

Installs easy, Looks Great, and it works with magpul, protec, & factory OEM mags! This upgrade is definitley going on all my future Glocks!
