Haven't tested whether or not it maintains zero when re-mounting, but everything else works as expected. Looks like it may be designed for the newer generation of Spitfires, since my first gen looks a little oversized on it, but mounts solidly and works perfectly fine on the first gen.

I'd been looking for a QD mount for years after purchasing my spitfire, and I finally found one! It arrived quickly and the install was simple and fast. Quality product. I hit a snag in installation for a moment but it was a quick fix.

These are fantastic mounts, I have several AD mounts on various optics. I found them while looking for a comparable to LaRue Tactical. While LaRue is incredible, so is the price. My requirements are that the mount has to be solid, must have a repeatable zero (I need to remove optics to get space in gun safes, and re zeroing gets old), and they had be be at a better price point than alternatives. AD fits the bill on all 3. In fact i recently did a hybrid ar with this mount and a new Vortex Spitfire 3x and it was on the paper at 100 first shot. I did not bore sight or anything!(just got lucky i doubt i would ever see this happen again). However, this is an indicator of the tight tolerances and fitment that you get. These are tough, tac ready, units that hold zero like units that cost 2x as much. Also they are made in Wisconsin! I like the standard levers vs the tactical(standard are smaller and my fingers are made of tungsten). If you buy one of these, you may be filled with regret that you now will have to replace the mounts across all your systems..they are sometimes slower to ship due to demand, but they are worth the wait time.
