I ordered two pair of these glasses, one clear reading pair and a second pair of dark glasses with the polarized G-15 Gray Green lenses. I recently got hearing aids and most conventional temples on glasses drop behind the ear. The bayonet temples go straight back. Well, I still have a pair of the original pilot's glasses that I bought in the PX in the Benning School for Wayward Boys in 1974. With the bayonet temples, they were the most comfortable glasses I had to wear for long duration but the only problem was that they were obviously not prescription. (I hate this getting old business!) So I called American Optical and they said Optics' Planet will make you prescription glasses. I went to my Eye Doc and got all of the measurements using the old original pilot's glasses and filled out the forms on line. Well, a couple of days later, I got a call from Optics Planet and a very astute gentleman asked if I really intended to order the clear pair as lined bifocals and the dark glasses as progressive bifocals. THANK YOU, THANK YOU! He made the correction to the order on the spot. He was also adjust the charges for the extra $15 +/-. He made it so easy. So, about three weeks later, here come the glasses and the moment of truth. Were the measurements right? Were they both progressive lenses? Yep! Everything was dead on target. I still can't see as well as I did in 1974, but these are as good as it gets. Also, the two pair of glasses were about $250.00 less expensive t...

In the interest of fair disclosure, I must admit that I had some "issues" with the first set of sunglasses. They were, in fact, not sunglasses. They had given me a clear lens. I called and they immediately apologized, sent a pick-up slip for the incorrect pair, and began to process the new glasses. The
OpticsPlanet staff could not have been more apologetic and helpful. I was very impressed.
The new sunglasses-with tinted lenses-were delivered in a very quick manner. I am a pilot as well, and I used them in the cockpit to make sure the progression worked and was clear-They were excellent. The clarity was outstanding, and the frames seem very sturdy.
I have worn this type of sunglasses for years, and the prescription has made them incredible. I recommend, without reservation, the company, the staff, and the product. Excellent

Great glasses, just what I wanted, just took a long time to receive product after ordering. The look is what I wanted, ie; military with out the"TOPGUN" stigma, very professional, nice fit, easily adjusted. The next pair I get, I would like the gradient lenses and the brushed chrome frames, the silver is a little bright and bold, I want people to see me, not my glasses
