Decent Sight

It's a decent sight. The fit was not great, super loose. The fiber optic portion was a bit big for my preference, and not very sharp.That being said, it got my G32 shooting right on the money. My favorite so far has been Dawson Precision front sights. These are not bad for the money.

Excellent product

This sight fit the bill perfectly, it has made a world of difference compared to the stock sights.
I would recommend it to anyone looking for an FO setup.
The green FO is a change from the standard red and I find it easy to pick up even in less than optimal lighting.

Ameriglo front sight

Works great on my competition G35. Doesn't overhang the cutout like some others. Doesn't need special pre-formed fiber for replacement. Can use any secondary market fiber of proper size. Correct width and height. I'd like to see a little more support of the fiber in the body of the sight. Bright fiber. Overall, I like it.

Great, inexpensive fiber optic!

I have used Ameriglo Sights for years and this fiber is great. It's half the price of competitor's offering and works just as well. The .115 width works great when paired with a .150 Defoor rear. I have used Dawson and 10-8 performance and always come back to Ameriglo. I prefer the stock .156 Sight height.

Great for the price

I have this sight on all of my defensive guns that do not have a rmr. I wish the post offered more protection for the fiber rod but I've never had a rod break during training classes. Uses a big .060" fiber rod so eye acquisition is a breeze. Just buy it and enjoy a boost in speed and accuracy

AMERIGLO FRONT SIGHTS

I do a lot of outdoor, in the day light, competition shooting. Depending on the competition category, I use any one of several Glock pistols. All 11 of my Glocks have the Ameriglo Front (only) Day Sights and I am completely satisfied with them. I'll also say that OPTICS PLANET is the lowest price I've been able to find on these sights.

  • Long lag time after ordering (5 to 7 weeks)
Best Used for:
  • Day time, out door shooting.

Well built

Easy to install,just make sure you get threads started with your finger and don't forget the lock tite blue of course i tighten the nut with a good pair of needle nose pliers.
just take your time,only about five minute job.My installed on a Glock17.

Ameriglo Fiber rod front sight for Glocks

The green/yellow is very bright in normal light and the overall mount is the same size as factory orig front sight so you can keep orig rear sight if you wish.

Easy to install-but you should have the front sight install tool as the factory sight is pinned in but the Ameriglo (or all night sights for that matter) use a small hex head nut to secure the replacement sight. The use of a dedicated front sight install tool makes it a snap and finished in seconds. I also recommend putting some Threadlocker on the hex nut to help with vibration and recoil. Never had a problem loosening up with threadlocker in place.

Green fiber optic

Great front sight to upgrade the glock plastic sights. draws focus to the front sight during day and at night with the use of a flashlight. Great upgrade and green is a great option for self defense, the human eye picks up green the easiest, and fastest.
