Excellent sight!
Great sight, fast target acquisition, green ring glows with light and is very bright. Probably going to buy some for the rest of my guns. They are a pain to get on and removing the sights is also awful.
AmeriGlo Smith & Wesson Pro Glow Night Sights
Easy to install on my Shield 40. Front sight orange outline provides quick target acquisition. Tritium inserts are very bright in dark or low light conditions. Highly recommend the dot over dot configuration.

Ameriglo pro I Dot
These were the first pro I Dot sight I have purchased. These sights are just as good as the Trijicon HD and they are almost half the cost. I just installed them on my shield and they fit perfect. Good sights.

Sight jumps out at you
Love this sight, I have it on two guns. I am 70 and my eyes are not as good as they used to be. The orange front sight is easy to see in the daylight, and the night sights work in the dark. I like the single dot on the rear sight, makes lining up the sights in the dark easier.

AmeriGlo Night Sights for S&W Shield
Arrived in a short time and were easy to fit with little filing. The dot over dot or figure eight arrangement is the best, I have found, with poor eyes and corrective lenses. Pick up sight picture very quickly. Would recommend this sight.
Best Used for:
- Defensive applications

Shield I-Dot Sights
Excellent sights, fast daytime and nighttime acquisition. Relatively easy to install and very bright. Daytime visible with the orange contract and the tritium is fantastic to pick up at night. This have become my go to sights for Glock and M&P pistols.
Pros:
- bright
- easy to aquire
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Conceal Carry

Great sight!
I love this sight! It has a great sight picture. The sight is easily visible during the day and night. The machining on the sight is good and the sight fit on my S&W M&P Shield perfect. I would definitely recommend this sight to others.

Excellent quick acquisition, or precise shooting sight with a surprise bonus....
OK I wanted to replace my really good factory fiber optic sights with night sights for all around use on this multi functional pistol. I was always a "3 dot guy". Then tried these....I'm sold on the Idot / figure eight / whatever you call it sight set up.
FIRST...they are very simple, the eye just can't help but to be attracted to the very bright (more yellowish than green) front post. SECOND...the rear sight's "dot" has no color ring around it, helping with my first point. THIRD...the U shape notch rather than the square notch in the rear sight helps "cradle" the round front dot and used with a flat, level, straight across top of both sights works super for more precise shooting, and by simply working in combo stacking the one dot on top of the other works better than I imagined for slow fire.
I actually had a few air pistols around that I "mocked up" the sights on to mimic these and others I was interested in with bright greenish fishing lure paint, even during this "mock up" the configuration really worked for me.
The tritum vials glow VERY brightly, and with the larger in front / smaller in back, its easy to find that front sight and align with the rear without much trouble at all.
When I first took them out of the package, I thought maybe I wasted money as the yellowish / green circle in front didn't seem all that impressive, so I took it outside in sunlight. BOY ARE THEY BRIGHT!
Here's the surprising shocker...as I walked back in the house, I noticed the front sigh...

Great sights - AmeriGlo I-dots
I have some eye issues with Astigmatism and these really help with getting the sights lined up. Normal 3-dot sights double the dots for me so hard to get the center one in the middle. I also really like the large front sight that draws the eye to it quickly.

These make a great gun even better
I have night sights on all of my guns and had never tried "I-dot" sights before purchasing these for my M&P Shield. I'll start by saying I'm 58 years old and my eyesight is not what it was in my youth. In many cases I need some corrective vision in order to get a good sight picture now. These sights are bar none the best I've ever had for these old eyes. With the blacked out rear sight and the big bright front sight I can pick these up well with or without glasses. I'd read in the past that all black rear sights are preferred by many pros and now I know why. Without the two rear dots the eye naturally picks up the front sight with ease and without the disruption of trying to center the front dot between the two rear dots. For my sight acquisition is now faster and better than ever. And now for the night or low light experience. It is true that a view of three tritium-lit equal sized dots can slow down aiming, and there is the possibility at night and under extreme duress that an individual can actually line the dots up incorrectly, with the front dot outside the two back ones. With an I-dot system sight alignment is so instinctual and fast. One dot over the other and you are on target.
I'm sorry for the long review here, but I am really sold on these AmeriGlo sights. I intend to put them on all my guns they are available for.

pro glo sights
Very nice sights. Two dot vertical is better than three dot horizontal. Three dot is good for slower shooting, but two dot is a lot easier for faster shooting. Quicker on target from draw. The tritium is awesome in the very low light situations. Would recommend.

- faster sight picture
