Most Helpful Positive Review Great Night Sights!
These Ameriglo sights have become my "go to" for any pistol I put night sights on. The orange outline on the front sight is a "blaze" orange and actually seems to FIND ITSELF when aiming in daylight. It is very easy to locate! The tritium lamps are bright and very easy to acquire in low light situations. Keep in mind, these are COMBAT night sights. Thus, when aiming in daylight, when you look for "equal light" in your sight picture, you may see more than you may be accustomed to with factory sights. But the wide notch in the rear sight allows for quicker acquisition in lower light situations. ...

Not as bright as others.

I had to send my first set back. The right, rear sight dot was only about 2/3 the illumination of the others in low light. Put up side-by-side with other brands these are not as bright, at least not the set I got. They have a duller yellow/green glow in the dark compared to other brands that truly glow ;). The white markings around the rear sight dots are not as bright and noticeable as they appear in the provided images making daytime shots harder to line up than with the OEM sights I was replacing. I've seen other products from this manufacturer that perform just great so perhaps I got a bum set. We'll wait for the exchange and see...

My preferred pistol sights

Same quality product as Trijicon and others. The -247 incorporates a blaze-orange front sight that makes a tremendous difference in acquiring a fast sight-picture during lighted conditions. The 3-green tritium dots provide good sights for conditions of absolute-darkness.

sw-247 ameriglo f/r combo sights

Rear sight did not fit properly on my new m2.0, gun shop ordered new rear sight to install. I have not been able to shoot the gun yet, but I did like the contrast with the outline. Hope you get a good fit.

THESE ARE EXCELLENT SIGHTS.

These sights are great. Visible in any lighting condition. Very high contrast. Love this combination because it prevents confusion of front and rear dots on sights. I bought these as a replacement for factory sights on my full size M and P and I came back to buy them for my M and P Shield. The price is a little high but pretty comparable to similar sights.
