Bronco Henry's Review of Ammo, Inc. Signature .223 Remington 55 grain Full Metal Jacket Brass-Cased Centerfire Rifle Ammunition

I purchased these through optics planet for a mag dump type ammo for my coyote gun on the range. Sometimes accuracy doesnt matter, so i said "what the heck" and got these cause, ya know, cheap. My worst rimfire ammunition is more reliable than this .223. You will not be even close to MOA at even 50yds. I wont even keep the brass. It is the only ammo out the 7 I shot today that would not cycle consistently out of my mini 14 (5,10,20rd mags) almost like it didn't have enough charge to move the block (my gun was clean), again every other brand hunting ammo in my collection cycles like a dream. Out of the bolt action I can normally hit a glof ball at 100yds (with near any other ammo), this stuff best I could do was 4 MOA. It wasn't even consistent groupings either, like you were shooting only flyers. So I set up some clay pigeons at 100yds and this was the real test of if you could even consider hunting with it, and we're talking like 50% misses all day with that ammo ON CLAY PIGDEONS AT 100YDS! Every other ammo lived up to that challenge as it should. The first thing I did when I got home was write this review because we just stopped shooting it, everyone hated it. Every other ammo cycled whether it be hunting or bulk or match. Every other ammo was slapping targets. This stuff has more flyers than Philadelphia.
Pros:
  • You get a $130 plastic ammo can
Cons:
  • Bad brass for reloading, Unreliable, inaccurate
Best Used for:
  • Display purposes only
