works great
Asc grendel mag feed great no issues at all. The FDE color is a little lighter tan than magpul FDE but still looks good. Now we just need to talk asc into making a OD Green version. I don’t have anything else to say about it but the review won’t let me quit until I write more. 200 words it says.

Wow has the quality gone down
I own several of these exact mags, 10 rd 6.5 Grendel, and they work perfect. No issues, feed great, drop free. No issues. So I got 3 more with my last order. Wow they are awful. 1 is so out of spec it will hardly go into magwell and you have to rip it out. The other 2 will go in but will not drop ou...

Functions as it should.
First off I had to stretch the spring a tad to get the follower to engage the bolt stop. No big deal. Shot about 35 rounds using it and had no malfunctions. I went hunting and it rained the whole time and when I went to unload and pack up to leave noticed the coating on the magazine was wrinkling off like I had put paint stripper on it. No big deal other than getting black flakes everywhere. Luckily it’s stainless steel so it will be in the raw for now on. But very odd how the paint reacted to just rain. Overall I’m pleased it does what I purchased it for and it doesn’t have to be pretty.
Pros:
- functions
Cons:
- messy when paint begins to flake.
Best Used for:
- Its intended purpose

For the ruger american in 6.5 grendel
Purchased 10 of these to cycle through for my 6.5 grendel ruger american. They all feed and fit with no issue. 0 complaints, definitely would buy again
Pros:
- Good fit and function
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Ruger American 6.5 grendel
Would recommend: Yes
works well
Can’t complain! They work as they’re supposed to. The Coating is nice they stay pretty clean. I recently purchased two of them for my new rifle build. The Shipping was fast and easy as well so I can’t complain their either. I will certainly be buying more of these in the future for this same build

High Quality
Exactly what I needed, high quality, perfect fit. Fits my AR Grendel like a glove. Will definitely order some more. Already recommended these to my friends and family. Don’t think twice about getting these you won’t regret it

Magazine gets "fat" when loaded and has feed issues
Not super happy with these. They get "fat" when they are loaded and it causes some resistance when loading them into an AR mag-well. They do not do this empty. I compared them to CMMG magazines which do not have this issue. They also failed to feed a couple times and double fed once resulting in 2 damaged rounds. Yes, Grendel is expensive! I will not buy these again.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Poor fit when loaded
- Misfeeds

ASC 6.5 Grendel 10 Rd Mag
I purchased two of these magazines. Not from opticsplanet. One will cycle Ammo with no problem. 2nd one is a piece of junk. It will not feed. Jams up continuously. Then have a problem of getting clip out with shells jammed into bcg.

Best 6.5 grendel mags Ive used thus far.
This is the Mag Bear Creek Arsenal recommends for their products and it has functioned perfectly in my BCA 6.5G upper. I've tried several different brands and this one is the one that has worked the best so far. These come pre-fit for 5 rounds but can easily be modified to accept 10 with a wire clipper.

Good, Reliable Mag
This is a good mag for hunting. Not so much for self defense applications, since it will not drop free when released, but I've heard that's to be expected with Grendel. Fine for a ten round hunting mag, which is what I wanted. No malfunctions so far.
Best Used for:
- hunting
Would recommend: Yes
Works fine but a little tight
Mag works fine, no issues with feed. It’s a little on the tight side barely can get the fifth round in it, but I can fix that. Size wise, it is the same size as my 10 round mags, so I had to engrave it to keep from using the wrong one and being illegal while hunting.
Pros:
- Smooth feeding
Cons:
- On tight side
Would recommend: Yes
Avoid brand - no support, damages your ammo
I have ASC mags for the Grendel which work ok. 2x5round and 1x10 round. I bought two ASC 15 round in Feb 2021 and spent four months looking for ammo. Finally got to the range in August and horrified to find BOTH new ASC 15 round magazines double feed so badly, it damages the brass. This is Hornaday SST, over $1.20 a round.
I contacted ASC and every time they promise to replace, but make no actual effort, even after providing everything, requested multiple times. It's like having health insurance.
I had planned to do ground hog hunting this fall in the swamp and needed the extra capacity. It can become dangerous if your gun jams. I always test my rifles in August to allow time to fix any issues before hunting season. When I'm out hunting, I don't have time to do gun checks at the range.
Well ASC pretty much destroyed my schedule by jerking me around for over a month of not providing ANY SUPPORT and I want you to know about it. I'm going to take their magazines down to the range after deer season and make them a target. At least I'll get some utility out of them.
I STRONGLY recommend Duramag, as I have experience they support their product after the sale based on owning 300BO, 556NATO 6.5Grendel and 7.62x39 AR, all Duramag (C Products).

Pros:
- Look pretty
Cons:
- Waste of money!
- Do not honor their warranty
- Jerk customer around
- Damaged my expensive ammo
Best Used for:
- Downrange, as a target. They are otherwise worthless
