If you own a Glock this is one of two things that I consider a must. The other being the sights. purchased this trigger kit for a new gun, and had a glock armourer install the kit. although the travel and reset are slightly improved, it does not reduce the pull weight at all nor does it improve the gritty feel of the trigger. very little difference for the money form a stock trigger. its a nice...

Glock frame tolerances are not consistent.
I bought this trigger because I have the same one in another Glock 19X, and the reset is almost as good as Canik's. This Apex, however, is not the same. The reset is twice as long and comparable to the stock Glock trigger. I returned it thinking it was the trigger at fault. After contacting Apex, I was told that the Glock frames are all over the place and inconsistent in tolerances frame-wise. I also heard this from YouTuber Johnny Glock when he did a segment on triggers. I gave the trigger five stars because of the one I have. The one I returned is probably a five-star, just not in my frame. Hope this helps someone.

not reliable
Once i installed this, i started having light primer strikes. My personal defense ammo would not run. Took this out and put stock trigger back in and all my issues went away. Decided to try timney alpha trigger and it runs flawlessly. Get a timney instead

What I was hoping for
I didn't care for the stiff pull and angled trigger shoe on the OEM Glock trigger, even the Gen 5. After research I decided to try this one over other competitors and I'm very pleased with the results. Installation was super easy after watching a YoutTube video. The flat faced trigger shoe is easier to consistently grab. The weight reduction is also helpful for a more consistent, less jerky trigger pull. So far so good.

Great upgrade
I did a lot of research and decided to settle on this kit, which came highly recommended by many respected shooters, including Ben Stoeger and Joel Parks, so it was a no-brainer for me. I love the flat faced wider trigger shoe. It's easier to grab and the lack of curves makes for a more consistent and straight pull. The connector and related hardware also reduced the grit and weight of pull. The gun now feels much more user friendly and I'm sure it will improve further in time. It's not so light as to feel unreliable or dangerous.

Apex Tactical Gen 5 Glock Trigger Kit
I've tried quite a few aftermarket Glock triggers and I always end up back at Apex.
The trigger pull is very smooth, break is clean, minimal over-travel, audible/tactile/short reset.
I highly recommend this trigger over the factory Glock trigger.
Install is easy as can be.

Great upgrade for my Glock
It won't give you a 1911 trigger on your Glock, but it does reduce the pull weight significantly and give you a more pronounced and forceful reset. At first I felt grittiness in the trigger as the trigger bar rubbed against the stock safety plunger (in the gen 3 version of this kit, an improved safety plunger was provided, but not in this gen 5 version). But after working the trigger in dryfire about 50 times, the rough safety plunger got polished with the friction (I could see the shiny wear mark on it), and the pull felt smoother. This trigger has reportedly been approved by police departments for duty use.

Overall Good Trigger
I got this trigger to replace the horrible stock trigger in my Glock 19. I love it. It has a nice reset, less creep, and just feels better than the stock trigger. Only gets four stars because the connector, after it was installed, would make the trigger not function. I swapped it out with the stock connector and it works like a charm. I called Apex and their customer service was excellent. Not only did the guy walk me through what to do but he also sent me a new connector to try out. That connector didn’t work either so I just kept the stock Glock connector in the pistol. Overall it’s a great trigger so I’d say purchase if you’re on the fence.
