I got this trigger to replace the horrible stock trigger in my Glock 19. I love it. It has a nice reset, less creep, and just feels better than the stock trigger. Only gets four stars because the connector, after it was installed, would make the trigger not function. I swapped it out with the stock connector and it works like a charm. I called Apex and their customer service was excellent. Not only did the guy walk me through what to do but he also sent me a new connector to try out. That connector didn’t work either so I just kept the stock Glock connector in the pistol. Overall it’s a great trigger so I’d say purchase if you’re on the fence.
I purchased this trigger but wasn’t impressed. It gets the job done for a single stage trigger but it had its issues. Installing was very simple due to the drop in style but the function of it was not flawless. The trigger freezes at times and I have to squeeze harder for it to engage and fire a shot. Overall it’s ok but I wouldn’t recommend.
This lpvo is a nice choice for a “starting out” scope. It’s cost effective but not cheap. I have it on an ar-15 chambered in 223 that is zeroed at 100 yards. It was easy to zero. Glass is very clear but it’s difficult to get the whole picture when looking through it. Lots of times there’s a black border around the outside of the glass and I have to move my head around to get that clear glass, no border on the outside view. Every time I used the illumination with a daylight bright setting after a few minutes the scope reticle gets dim. The reticle seems to get quite a bit of “bleed” and I have to use it on a medium setting. This happens in any weather condition. I took the battery out and use it without it. If you’re in the market for a scope to throw on your rifle til you’ve saved up enough to get something better, than this is a good choice. I’ll be using this til I save up for an Eotech.
So I have 3 of these lights. One stays on a 16” AR15 and works to perfection. The mount doesn’t come loose from recoil and it works every time I need it to. Another one is in a drawer in my nightstand and works well for needing a flashlight circumstances. The third one sucks. It doesn’t stay on the weapon it’s mounted on and constantly comes loose. I need to change its battery almost every time I use it for it to work. I took it off and it stays in my safe on the shelf. I guess as a back up light/parts. I took a tactical course and the light stopped working half way through the class. Yes a new battery was installed before the class. I guess 2 outta 3 isn’t so bad but as with everything, you get what you pay for. Get yourself a stream light. They work great all the time every time for the price. If you want to go high end, of course get a Surefire.
This thing is nice. Clear glass, built sturdy, and overall good quality sight. Got it to match my grey camo AR build I did. Only gets four stars because looked at from the front, you can see the light source. At night I’m sure it would give away your position. Other than that this is a good option. Get the riser that comes separate. It definitely helps.
For $246 one would expect this trigger to be everything needed. Not the case. Maybe I received a defective trigger. The one I received sits with a tilt or angle towards the trigger hole which makes the lbs in the pull next to nothing. I’ve tried different springs with the same tilted angled effect and pull. The bolt carrier group closing caused my AR to slam fire. Not once but twice. Good thing my muzzle was down range. I would not recommend this trigger to anyone! This thing is dangerous. Again maybe I got a defective trigger but for the price you expect it to work how the description states.
