Most Helpful Negative Review Difficult to install and marginal improvement
Be sure and read the install guide. They recommend obtaining nearly $100 of tools needed to install this, but they are not absolutely required. Semi Drop in Threaded Barrel

Great barrel for a suppressor. This one is for a Smith and Wesson. Fit and Finish are excellent. Accuracy is excellent. Minor fitting is required by a gunsmith, so keep that in mind when ordering. Overall a great choice and value.

Not a drop in

Barrel seems quality but I have to take to smith to work it over. Thought it was a drop in. Threads are fine and it came within. Reasonable time. Optics planet is a great place to shop, this is a one off error on my part.

Not semi fit

Local gunsmith who has charged quite fairly for services, $5 to throw on and time an ASR muzzle device, $150 to thread extend and then 1/2x28 thread the extension for a 9mm barrel, quoted me $200 to fit the the barrel bc it was so out of tolerance. So, I said nope and he informed me he could extend and thread the factory barrel for $150. This barrel came in poor packaging, a plastic bag, all beat to heck too. So I just returned it.
