Most Helpful Positive Review Nice mag pouch
I added this to my AR500 Veritas carrier and 3+ steel plates from Tactical Scorpion Gear. It holds three Pmags securely but they aren't overly difficult to pull out. My plates are less than 1/4 inch thick so I could see how some thicker plates could add too much friction with the rubber material inside the pouch. I'm sure it will lose some of it's grip from repeated inserting and removing magazines. I really like how the mags are pulled close to the body and don't flop around like some Molle pouches can when I dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge.

This is a great Magazine Pouch. I have a number of these in different sizes and configurations, I have not had issues with any of them. Will buy again.

I have a plate carrier in ATACS and cant find good magazine pouches for it. Luckily, it has a kangaroo pouch and these fit in it. Perfect for AR500 armor carriers

by Walter C., from TX, United States Written on January 18, 2021
I bought this to add magazines to the AR500 plate carrier. It fits like a charm. The magazines fit snuggly without adding bulk. If you’re looking for a quick way to add magazines, you need this product. I’m very happy with the purchase.

AR500 Kangaroo Pouch

by Mr. Nobody, from TX, United States Written on June 8, 2020
I purchased this item when i ordered a valkyrie plate carrier with plates. Everything is snug and secure. I am using P-mags and i don't have fitment issues or accessibility. At first putting it in seemed like it didn't fit, but it did. Great product for the price

Good piece of gear.

by Seth Cormier, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on June 2, 2020
This arrived late due to back order and covid. The item was constructed in a solid and high quality fashion. The Velcro secures and leaves little for the end user to worry about. The depth of individual pouch should determine if you need some sort of addition to the magpuch insert.
Pros:
  • cost
  • Construction
  • Material
  • Velcro
Cons:
  • Might need to modify
Best Used for:
  • Operating Operationaly.

magazine pouch

by Steven Barnes, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on May 14, 2020
I bought this for my AR500 Valkyrie carrier which Is loaded with AR500 10x12 hybrid plates. I tried to load it with three Pmags and could only get two fully in. When I positioned them all into the mag pouch at an even and acceptable hight they couldn’t e removed quickly. It took a lot of force to get them out. Might work better with steel mags but I dint want to buy three steel magazines. The product is of good quality though.

FYI, does not work with thick armor plates.

by Kevin, from HI, United States Written on May 13, 2019
If this product is desired, thinner armor will need to be used or the mags won't fit. I'd prefer to leave no rating, but I think the computer makes me. My plates are not made by AR500, although I use an AR500 carrier. They're the thick and "neutrally buoyant" plates designed to stop AR15/AK47 rounds. Stick to thin plates and this should work fine, especially considering the price tag.
