This rail is, by design, a little tall. Forget the rest, area 419 makes great stuff.

If you plan to mount larger scopes with larger bodies just pay attention to your ocular bell housing dimension. On the cz 457, as a larger guy I would prefer to have my scope mounted further forward. However, I also want my scope as low as possible. I ended up with this rail and very low rings and my objective bell clears the reciever/barrel just fine, but I cannot position the scope further forward again due to interference between the ocular bell and the rail.

I prefer this style of rail that clamps onto the 11mm dovetail, but I will be moving to a DIP slide on rail to get a better height on the rifle. Great product, just the wrong application for me.

Also, the bubble level is kinda... cute. Its pretty small and hard to see under the scope. I have pretty good eyesight, but in anything but the best lighting the little level is not useful. For style I would prefer not to have it.

The Area 419 rail fits perfect, excellent build quality for and finish. Various MOA options to fill your specific needs. Looks great on the rifle and the bubble level is a nice added touch.

It fits my rifle well and looks good. I like having the bubble on the back of the rail it helped leveling my scope but I haven't used it since, but I do like having the option to check it against the bubble on my scope ring if I need to. I like that it's open on both sides of the chamber so I can see what's going on in there when I need to. My only complaint is that sometimes a casing will bounce off the rail and not make it out of the rifle, but I'm not sure if that is the rifle or the rail. It mounts very solid and if I bought another 457 I would be purchasing another one of these rails.

Just started a CZ 457 build and went this Area 419 rail adapter in 30 MOA. It’s a perfect fit on the 457 action and is definitely quality. The level is nice for initial scope mounting but otherwise you’ll not really use it. Still a nice extra feature. It’s a bit more expensive than other 457 rails, but anything connected to the glass is buy once cry once.

This worked perfectly for mounting a scope on my CZ 457 AtOne rifle. With this base I could dial in my eye relief and the 15 moa rise let me easily shoot out to 250 yds without running out of elevation in my scope. The level built into the base is spot on for keeping dead on aim. If you have a CZ 457 I highly recommend this base. I used blue lock tight when mounting to keep it solid.

The fit of this is outstanding on the CZ457, and locks in really well. Unfortunately, I clearly received a blemished one as the white “419” logo on the side was partially painted white and a little smudged. I normally would not care to much about something like this, but when you can order a Blemished part from area 419 for less than what I paid for it here and know what you are getting, it is a little disappointing. I have no doubt that Optics planet would make it right if I wanted to return it, but I would rather keep it in my rifle and shoot more now than wait for a replacement. Other than the blemish, the product is working great, and I would reccomend it for anyone with a CZ457.

Love the 30 moa base. Good and strong for mounting 50mm scope.
